Many similarities between nada and iloveoov

At first, (Nada/oov) was just some skilled guy who beat a terran progamer who was dominant at the time. But then, after joining the famous Boxer's team, (Nada/oov) took on the MBCgame (KPGA tour/Starleague), where he was an unknown underdog who somehow made it to the finals. (Nada/oov) then really made a name for himself, winning 3 games in a row against yellow in finals of his first MBCgame (KPGA/Star)league. It was a long struggle, but (Nada/oov) finally got his first major league win under his belt. Before this, Yellow must have been overjoyed thinking, "I'll finally win something big now that Lim Yo Hwan is out of the way and I'm against a lucky newb who made it to the finals!" only to crack under the pressure(or lack thereof?) and lose 3 straight games. With a major victory so soon after joining the pro-gaming scene under SlayerS_`BoxerS`'s team, (Nada/oov) was destined to become the next great terran player.

Though (Nada/oov) was on the same team as Boxer, who was a micro player, he ended up defeating all of his MBCgame (KPGA tour/Starleague) opponents with an incredible macro style that focused on getting more units more quickly than other progamers could, then rolling over with the macro advantage.

With such a powerful macro and good strategic thinking, (Nada/oov) improved quickly and easily defeated all of his opponents in his second MBCgame league. With two first place finishes, (Nada/oov) was then thought to possibly be better than the previous top terran, (Boxer/Nada). (Nada/oov) seemed to have dominated even harder in this second league than he did in his first.

Then, (Nada/oov) looked to take the MBCgame title for the third time in a row. Though he did dominate most of his opponents easily this third time around, his opponent in the finals was no pushover. In order to win his third MBCgame (KPGA tour/Starleague), he would have to defeat a very strong player who recently knocked a terran grandmaster, (Boxer/Nada), out of the very same league. Though (Boxer/Nada) was in a slump at the time, it was still a huge accomplishment for (Nada/oov)'s opponent because how many people can say, "I just defeated (Boxer/Nada), a terran grandmaster, in this league"? (Chojja/Kingdom)'s (ZvT/PvT) was considered to be nearly unbeatable at the time, but it was no match for (Nada/oov)'s monstrous macro. In deciding game of the series, (Chojja/Kingdom) made a huge mistake, which (Nada/oov) capitalized on to win the series 3-2. 3 MBCgame titles in a row. Though he was still undoubtably the best player in the world, (Nada/oov) did not seem as unbeatable as he did in his previous victory.

Immediately after his success on MBCgame, (Nada/oov) suddenly appeared in the finals of the next OGN starleague. The finals of the OSL produced one very close "OMFG HOW DID HE DO THAT" game, but (Nada/oov) won (all the games/the final game) after that one easily. This made his opponent cry.

After bursting into the pro-gaming scene with 3 consecutive first place finishes in MBCgame, (Nada/oov) had finally won the OGN Starleague, cementing his place in the "terran hall of fame" if that even exists. However, invincible as he seemed, (Nada/oov) was unable to fight off the OGN curse and finished 1-2 in his group during the next, with his only win coming from the previous "best terran in the world", (Boxer/Nada), who then went on to (almost win/win) the same OSL, trampling over several of the strongest ZvT players in the world. To add insult to injury, (Nada/oov) was soon 3-0'd by a protoss player who now resides in KTF, which put a huge dent in his TvP record. After his era of invincibility was finally stopped by the OGN curse, (Nada/oov) was (doomed/possibly doomed) to losing at the final 8 of the OSL for (several starleagues/the second EVER starleague).

So if history repeats itself, which it probably will because OGN curse repeats every time, then maybe we can expect iloveoov to finish in the top-8-but-not-in-the-top-4 of every OSL and get random results in the MSL for a long, long time. There might be a few mistakes about the order of events(I'm assuming the MBCgame replays were numbered in order so Yellow would have won the first 2 and lost the last 3).

SUMMARY: when oov is in OGN quarterfinals, bet against him like crazy because history repeats itself.

I got the basis for this topic from someone making a post(maybe on another forum) comparing Microsoft and Xbox to Sega and Dreamcast using a long story full of this same use of mass parentheses to compare the two companies.

Yes this post was indeed very cool, though I've thought about it many times too, but havent put in energy enough to write it. oov is definatly going for another osl, but before that he's going for the next KT-KTF I wonder when the next machine comes though. Boxer should scout out another one. Oh and I've also wondered if it was Boxer who "found" Nada before his prime and got him to join IS-proteam.
Live2Win is awesome. Happy new year scarabi!
