A large series of articles about Team 8 just came out. Unfortunately, they're all from fomos, so I won't be able to translate them completely, but I tried my best to summarize them for you guys. Also, check the links for pictures ^^
Who lives in the same room? Details the living arrangements of the Team 8 dorms. Jaedong, Sea, and Jaehoon are in one room, while Baby, Killer, and Tyson are in the other. They decided to arrange it according to age (the older guys together, younger guys together), experience (debut times), and race (one player of each race in a room).
Team 8's Sea, it turns out, is a Morning Person As we know, Sea has a different sleeping pattern from the rest of the players. He believes in a sleep early, wake up early kind of lifestyle. Because of this, even though he shares a room with Jaedong and Jaehoon, he doesn't get to talk to them much (before bed, anwyay), though he'd like to. By the time Jaedong turns in for the night, Sea has already fallen asleep.
The Team Atmosphere is the Best! Baby says "Practice is fun!" Baby is really happy in the new team. He's gotten close to everyone very fast (probably abusing his status as the cute maknae, the youngest member, hehe). Baby practiced hard during the offseason so he wouldn't lose his skills, but he had a hard time and felt depressed. Joining the new team felt like he'd resumed a regular lifestyle again. Although he was WeMade's ace, on this new team, he'll have to work hard to move up. He thinks that Tyson is the team's moodmaker, because he's talkative, funny, and makes it so practice is never hard.
Killer: "When I'm doing well, I want to do even better!" Mini-Dong has been attracting interest for his rapidly improving performance (Jin Air OSL & the last inhouse tourney thing), and he feels he should capitalize on his strong momentum and be greedy for good results. He became friends with the rest of the team quickly, and Tyson calls him by his initials J.O. (like the way Jaedong is J.D.) . He thinks that Baby and Tyson are totally different from how they are in the arena, and was completely surprised that Tyson was even more talkative than himself, and that Baby was just so cute (lol what did I say ^^)
Jaedong: "Flash, just wait. Kespa #1 Ranking is MY spot!" (Jaedong on FIYAHHH!) Jaedong is revving up to his competitive mode. Preparing deathstare!!! This is the first time that there's been such a long gap, and it hasn't been easy for Jaedong. He doesn't want his career to burn out yet, so tells himself that he must do well. But he's not worried or stressed; he feels quite at ease. He wants to focus on showing everyone good games, and then the good results will naturally follow. Everyday the team practices from 10AM until 2 or 3AM non-stop, aside from meals, and he has no time to be social or do anything else. Last season, his results declined, but now he wants to be the best again. His Kespa ranking for November was #6, while Flash had been #1 for 6 months in a row. Jaedong's goal is now to recapture the glory of that #1 position. It won't be easy, but he's confident. + Show Spoiler +
???????
let me know if there are any mistakes :>
AAAAGHHHHHHHHH I'M SO EXCITED FOR SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!
Good to hear JD being eager to get back into the top dog spot, but he has been saying the same thing after every beatdown by Flash in 2010 (''I'll show better games next time'' and stuff like that). =/ And after hearing that Killer won the in-house tourney, I'm slightly suspicous about JD's abilities atm. I hope this is just me being a negative nancy though, would be awesome to see JD kick some serious ass again. ^__^

I think that a new team environment could really do him some good. It's not the same atmosphere that Oz was, where Jaedong had to break his back to carry his team by himself, and also focus on taking down Flash in individual leagues. Now some of that pressure is relieved. Who knows, this might just be what Jaedong needed to get himself back to Tyrant mode

To be fair, he really did improve his ZvT (especially against Flash) in a big way last season, owning him 4 times when people were pretty much completely dismissing his chances of beating Flash. Unfortunately, he started doing worse in his other matchups and that's what prevented him from winning any starleagues this year.

J.O. stands for 준오 = JunOh, same way J.D. stands for 제동 = JaeDong
I just want everyone to know that I almost just posted a satire piece on ESPN taking over MBCGame for English Pro-League commentary on ESPN 8 "The Ocho" and that they would be sponsoring Team 8.
I restrained myself, but I want everyone to know that this horrible article exists.

Jaedong did awesome on my anti team unitl the last 2 months in last FPL, then he destroyed me.
FPL is going to be interesting this time, I wonder if they will budget Team 8 at 8 for a team choice.
JD is pumped...and thus the light of hope shines from the heavens again. Let's dominate. I want to see, no, FEEL the fear from Flash and company when JD rolls them continuously without mercy.
Go Team 8. You know what you must do on the 26th...

Team8 > SKT 3-0. this saturday. no shit. Mods please put an simple '8' logo for us excited fans : D thanks in advance y'all!
I am so ridiculously excited for Team 8. So much promise on this team. Considering that it's coming from from WeMade, MBC, and Hwaesung Oz, three teams which had rather bleak prospects last year, it feels like an awesome phoenix-rising-from-the-ashes storyline. If they can perform up expectations and get a sponsor, I really think that Team 8 could be the best thing to happen to BW in a long while.

Thanks for the translations!
OH. DUH. I was thrown off by the JD 동생 (that, and I had a brain fart and forgot Killer's name).
Team 8 has been a brilliant ploy to just tease the bw fanbase to death. Every little thing I hear just makes me want PL to start again that much more. With any luck the news has captivated the korean fans to the extent it has people in the TL bw section.
In my imagination I keep seeing them coming out in matching pink button-down shirts with purple stripes like the one Coach Hoon had in his interview. That would be pretty baller :D
I really mean it, I'm a SKT fan but I will be cheering for Team 8 the whole season too, and wish for a close SKT v Team 8 series, whoever wins, I will be happy :D
So cool to see how the team is coming together with chemistry and just life itself. SKT v Team 8 so soon, Hype!
Also Killer is wearing an Atlanta Thrashers jersey. Didn't even know anyone in Atlanta cared at all for hockey tbh. Last thing I would expect any person in Asia to be wearing. I thought noone really gives a fuck about hockey other than Canada, Russia and Scandinavia (+ US bandwagoners whenever international competition begins.)
Great to see Jaedong in such high spirits. I was really worried that over the last few months Jaedong was losing his competitive spirit and love for the game. The change of environment seems to be having a very positive effect on Jaedong and I hope that is reflected in his gameplay.

That's the jersey that Jaehoon took from Shark and gave to Killer. Shark said his Aunt bought it from the US years ago. They were tweeting each other about it, you can read it here:

What jaedong said scares me. I know he has the mentality of a killer already but that just scares me. Just shows how he is a step above when it comes to work and mentality. I would be afraid of the Dong this year, very afraid.
For the people dismissing JD, we need to remember that JD's ZvT is unstoppable as of late. His ZvP is still incredibly solid and he's the favorite against any P bar Bisu. His ZvZ is really the only thing that has been halting his individual league runs, and it's not as though his ZvZ has gotten measurably worse. It's just that other people have figured out the matchup and he is sort of returning what is to be expected. JvZ of 2008-2009 was just a ridiculous abberation that is probably never to be seen again.
