at 1:48, sol.selector move on the neutral geyser that he had no vision anytime before, he was far from it when he clicked on it, penguinplug/bwac auto-center on the target.
First screenshot is with the replay option "see all the map"
2nd is with both player vision
it's in the bwchart action list :
You can wonder if it's realy a geyser, or which geyser it is on the map, because bwchart only show the unit ID and you are allowed not to turst PenguinPlug alone  . However, there is at least 1 thing to consider : the numbers in ( ) are the position of the target, and if you make a test game on the same map, you will see that the coordinates are the same with only a few pixel of difference.
Finally, i find his name quite irronical, beware to what you select next time, sol.SELECTOR
I hope lois is happy now, he is not the only one, they can make a cheater-club.

if this is true i guess bws is kinda not working. obvious it can detect map hackers this way but surely there is a mainstream hack out there or something that a bunch of people have. probably a lot of undetected hacking going on at lower levels that nobody will take the time to look into because its such tedious work to do

Curious because in one rep i checked, a famous hacker selects a vulture that im sure he didnt have vision of.
All of those explainantion are only for units/buildings under the "grey fog of war".
without a cheat program :
- you cant select something if it's under the "grey fog", if you try to left clic on it there will be no action at all in the replay
- if you target/move on a building, either with "a" "m" or the right mouse button, it will be recorded as a "target/move on" a ground location even if it seems to be done on an exact object.
with a maphack :
- selects will be recorded in the replay (sometime not, because some cheats filter them)
- "target/move on" will be recorded as an action on a building or unit (sometime not, because some cheats filter them)

yepp he was caught maphacking several times and he was also caught account sharing and multiple ladder account using and all possible stuff.
Selector was probably the most inconsistent BW player i ve ever obsed.
His performence was always changing from normal medium good player wo had to give his best to dominate C3 players ^^ to really good player who could give the germans best a hell of a fight
and back to average medium player.
I think there is not one single Person in the german BW community besides his RL friends
who is surprised about that.

he got caught several times in 2002/2003 several times in 2004 and now again in 2005...
he was also caught hacking in games vs his clanmate schnibl0r twice

he already had an H flag, jus ban him from WGT / TLT related events and be done with him. Its pretty apparent that bastard cant handle not hacking.
so sad, but i really expected MORE hackers in a ladder that had now hack detection except the old fashion admin teams and fellow gamers... probably more hackers yet to be found.

has anyone stopped to ask just why someone would click a geyser out of all the millions of things that could occur? I mean this is really making no sense to me, unless youre stating they had full maphack on the whole time and accidently clicked it.

obviously he's scouting, and accidently clicked on the geyser
EDIT: it could be accidently or he didn't know the game mechanic and purposedly clicked on it when order the worker to scout.

there's one thing about all of this which absolutely amazes me:
how easily blizzard could stop hacking with a patch.
a hack can let you see both players' vision. so....
blizzard makes a patch that utilizes this idea.
starcraft "can" know what's going on at both ends -> starcraft "can" know what actions are made -> starcraft "can" be patched to match such clicks with what the player can actually see. 5 or more of any blatant clicks means that the person loses.
am i the only one who realizes the sheer stupidity of it all, or am i severely misguided?

no, starcraft could patch it and make it REALY REALY harder to cheat, but certainly not by counting suspicious actions, like i said there is a method to follow to certify that a suspicious action is a proof.

starcraft has released patches. And guess what, maphack was always around the corner. They just dont have the time to invest in superior anti-cheat means the way a company like valve does, which is still quite laughable.

about the fog of war thing...i'm quite sure sometimes when i send unit groups with attack, somehow I click on close fog of war (but fog of war still, at least at a distance of 2 gates) at the enemy base and starcraft targets the closest building to the mouse inside the fow area...
anyway i guess im saying i don't think the guy is hacking, i think it's most likely some sort of bug.

When I attack-move on fog of war with my units, i click on ground but The enemy buildings show selection and light up red UNDER the fog of war. I wonder if that constitutes hack by your theory, whether you have accoutned for it and tested it... I should..

Yes there is the circle but it's realy recorded as a target on the ground, and not detected as a suspicious action by penguinplug, and it can be identified in bwchart as not associated with a building. Do the test please.

Because it works the same as clicking on a mineral (ie it walks through units).
Sounds very fucking stupid to do that in case anyone sees his scout pass through stuff and he doesn't have vision of any minerals/geysers in that area

did he just click the geyser or did he click a unit on the geyser? can penguin tell the difference? did he ever scout that geyser before he clicked on it? and what if i yamoto canon a nexus shrouded by fog of war is that still attacking the ground?is there a way to turn off the auto replay saver thing, (sorry if this one is off topic)

hey i just decided to download bwchart and check on my own replays if it says i hack (i've never hacked). why is my text highlighted in red under actions? it's mostly red when it shows i select on a probe or a nexus. in the game i dont recall selecting probes or nexus other than first scv harass =/

shizuru, a suspicious action is recorded whenever a player selects his opponent's buildings (or units?)
If there is red text, then its quite certain that you have done that, even if you don't recall it. A suspicious action can be any selection of opponents things, with assistance of a map-hack or not. That's why it is called a "suspicious action" not an "indication of map-hack"
