And two, because banking resources can result in seemingly impossible comebacks. Boxer vs Joyo on Paradoxxx for example, Boxer banks thousands of resources and continues to attack Joyo for like 10 minutes after he's stopped mining, and all the spectators see is all these tiny little fleets of terran units coming out of nowhere and doing tons of damage because Boxer micros like a king. | ||

Also, Boxer was testing out the new faster dropships at the time (remember 1.08 boosted their speed significantly), which is why Boxer makes tons of annoying little drops early midgame. | ||

I was doing a nostalgic rewatch of some of my games and stumbled upon this thread.. if anyone has that maynard vs villert replay still, please let me know I believe I was at 12 and "Villert" was on 6 at LT and I did a greedy 1 CC push.also just want to correct some things about the Maynard vs Villert replay as Google AI is digging up stuff and it's inaccurate haha. i used to be a fan of Maynard and I thought the legendary [9] clan was super cool so I used his name. The player who played as Villert was Eutheria and he was the top Finland player for early BW for a while. He was in the [LD] smurf clan with Smuft and Fennec. | ||
