At least a year ago if not much further back. He said it was too difficult a lifestyle and the struggle to be the best has drained his love of game. It's good he retires. Hopefully he sparks fire in some other interest now. The best Really game I saw was the ones with mines, turrets, and optic flare. Man that was cool. But I never liked him... cuz you know... everyone knows... eStro sucks. | ||

What is not seen is the new no name rookies entering the scene. there is no news content, little knowledge and talk due to uncertainty regarding them. hence the apparent disharmony between entry and exit. | ||

He sounded sick and tired of progaming since awhile ago. At least a year ago if not much further back. Can someone confirm this please? What are they going to do when they retire? I know few old progammers who retired are living day by day (ie. manual labour) because they do not have any sufficient qualifications for any other professions. Sad to see him retiring, at least I would hope to see him again in SC2 near future. | ||

Any other games are not popular in Korea, so the leagues are generally very small despite the competitiveness. I believe SC2 is the only area which has sufficient fundings (and still growing) and further, where Really can make most use of his amazing SC:BW skills. | ||
