These two players seem to have extremely similar approaches to playing. Calm isn't called the BrainZerg for nothing, and ever since the pre-announced matchups were abolished, Calm hasn't been able flex that mushy grey muscle inside his head much, and accordingly, his record has suffered quite a bit as his mechanics or game sense may not be as fine-tuned as other zergs of comparable caliber. Fantasy on the other hand has of course oov flexing said muscle, and the mechanics to execute well. These two players thrive on extensive preparation beforehand, and that's why we get such wacky games between the two.

![]() Against Fantasy on may 25th 2010. The game was on matchpoint (vod not availible on tlpd) and iirc calm had started derping as he attempted to counter Fantasys' mech with Hydra/Muta. Unfortunately since it's an old screenshot I had taken at the time and I'm unable to find the vod, I'm not able to make a gif of the complete reaction which was hilarious.

I remember that game 5 on Aztec in the '10 Bacchus OSL and the surprise at Calm's queens; it was like a precursor to the queen v mech approach developed by C-H, SK and Zero. Here's to more epic Clam v Failtasy (as well as their more competent counterparts) to come!
