I decided to take Xiphos's translation of Stork's interview and add my translation of Mind's interview together! Hooray for hiveminding!
Q: You’ve finally returned to the Round of 16 after 8 seasons. It seems that this is a special moment for you. A: I didn’t know that it’s been that long since I advanced. Honestly, hearing that makes me shocked now (laughs). I don’t get the impression that it’s been that long since the last time I advanced, but after always getting knocked out of the Round of 32 and finally advancing to the Round of 16 makes me want to continue this atmosphere and seize more opportunities.
Q: It’s been nearly 4 years since the last time you advanced to the Round of 16. A: Not only in the MSL, but overall, I’ve had lots of ups and downs in Proleague and the individual leagues. But it’s probably because I haven’t been able to play solidly, no? I haven’t been doing well because I haven’t been doing my best in my games. However, I feel that things are going better recently compared to the past. I think that something will be different this time in this MSL.
Q: You defeated two strong Protosses one after the other and advanced to the Round of 16. A: My TvP results have been going well recently. It’s also been like that in tournaments and in practice, so my games have been going the way I want them to go. I have confidence that no matter who I face in TvP, I won’t lose against them.
Q: In your TvP matchups, you played solidly, but in your game with Stork, you attempted to attack him in the beginning. A: Rather than changing up my style, I was in a situation where I could go for an opening rush build. When I saw my opponent building a Forge, I hesitated whether I should attack or not, but after I saw the timing, I thought that I could destroy his Photon Cannons while they were completing. The strategy went better than I thought it would.
Q: You said that you have a good feeling about this season. Your goal? A: Experiencing such a long slump makes it seem like with the exception of winning a MSL championship, there haven’t been many highlights of my career. I want to quickly put out results that I haven’t been able to show during that time.
Q: You’ve been matched off with Light in the Round of 16. Do you have confidence against him? A: Since I have confidence in my TvT, I am confident that I’ll do well no matter who I face. I also think that I’ll have no problems advancing to the Round of 8.
Q: You said that your team’s atmosphere has been good recently. Do you have confidence that you’ll also do well in Proleague? A: For some reason, I think that I’ll also do well in Rounds 5 and 6 (laughs). I have firm belief that my team will also be able to achieve better results than in the past rounds. [T/N: Where’d all this newfound confidence come from? Did Flash donate some to you?]
Q: Any last words you want to say? A: I want to thank Pure hyung and LuCifer hyung for helping me out with practice. BaBy also helped me out a lot, so I was able to win today. I’ve been matched up with Light, but I have expectations that BaBy will be a huge help to me again (laughs). [T/N: This sounds more like a threat than a friendly comment to your teammate…]

Stork's Chinese interview translation from Wfbrood:
Stork: "Beating firebathero to advance to the Round of 16 makes me feel apologetic towards him"![[image loading]](http://www.wfbrood.com/xingji/UploadFiles_9710/201104/20110415052136132.jpg) Q: Your feelings on getting into round of 16? A: In order to get to the round of 16, I had to beat firebathero twice. I'm sorry that I couldn't keep my promise about advancing to the Round of 16 together with him. Since I lost in the winner's game, I had to rely on beating firebathero.
Q: Anything reluctant while facing firebathero? A: It didn't take a lot of effort to beat him. I feel sorry for him since he got eliminated.
Q: Did you not want to face off against firebathero? A: Once upon a time, he said that the two of us would raise swords against each, it's uncomfortable that he was exactly right. Today did not go as I expect, I had to eliminate him in order to advance.
Q: With TaekLeeSsang (Bisu, Flash, Jaedong) in one group, the tournament should go in your favor? A: Personally I didn't feel that I was that advantageous. I still had to play in-house tournament; I still have to study the map. Time is very tight, I was very busy (didn't think of that).
Q: Recently there was a comment that Khan's Terrans' TvP is not good. Q: In practice, their PvT are amazing. But in broadcasted games, they tend to become nervous, that is the reason why they lost games. I think if they can form better mindset, no matter what matchup it is, they can play well.
Q: You won beautifully at last game. A: PvT is hard to play at La Mancha because there are lots of high ground. After the worker scoutings,I managed to gather a larger army so I came up on top on battles.
Q: What is your opinion on the Group of Death? A: While shooting the MSL video, I heard that Hydra was planning to create a group of death, so I told him not to do that, but he went ahead and actually made Group D, the Group of Death. I had wanted to see TaekBangLeeSsang to face each other in the later rounds though.
Q: You will face Hydra in the round of 16. A: Athough PvZ is the matchup that I worry about the most, I am still confident. Hydra seems to be suffering the post championship winner curse recently though, so it seems that I can take him on (laughs).
Q: Any other words? A: After the MSL game, practicing will be a lot easier. I really appreciated the help of my teammates. To firebathero, come hang out together when you are free. Last time when you had time off you didn't come, but if you come the next time you get some time off, I'll buy you dinner.

All credits for Stork's Chinese interview translation goes to Xiphos! Fixed some mistakes with the Chinese to Korean translator's liberties taken as well - Hydra's hate is universal amongst the international communities, wahaha. Haters gonna hate. Congrats to Mind and Stork for advancing to the Round of 16!

Looks like stork isn't the type to do the smack down to his previous team mate kudos to stork wish you luck in the next round and congrats mind for making it through ro 16 . Thanks spica for translation too ^^ .

A cruel fate for Stork to have to face FBH twice...
Thanks for the translations!

Go Stork! Thanks for translating.

Thanks for the translations (thanks to Xiphos too). Stork should call up Bisu and get some BvZ lessons to crush Hydra next round.

On the contrary I think Stork just talked down to FBH lol: "Hey he wasn't tough to beat but I had to do it so that's ok and btw I pity you so next time you come through, don't be a dick like last time and I will buy you some food because I know you won't be making money from this MSL rofl peace bro"
Also Stork's attitude in general is starting to show, "Hydra didn't listen to his wiser elder, me, and made a group of Death anyway, basically he's a noob coward end of story"
Thanks for the interviews! I hated Mind for being a one-hit-wonder and for robbing Bisu of his momentum, but I like his interview, and the questions were kinda brutal, so I feel bad for him. Mind fighting!

Mind fighting! Lmfao, I see what you mean, but since they're the same age and former teammates, they have to be BM to each other anyway. The amount of trashtalk to each other before their match started must have been quite colorful. Hell, look at firebathero's amused expression here, which tells all:

Ouch
Thanks for the interview

God i miss the old FBH. Since he's in the airforce he can't act silly, and every time he loses he looks like he wants to kill himself. I was really hoping he could make it through to the Ro16, and seeing him lose was painful.
Oh well, at least Stork made it through. And now i have Mind to cheer against.

So Ruby is ACE's last hope.
Thank you for the translation. Stork, please win!

thanks for translating. I'm really appreciate it :D

Man, Stork looks SO weird without glasses, it's freaking crazy.
|
Being at that group was awesome!! I was disappointed, too, that Stork had to eliminate FBH... but they were generally fun games..

I like how stork is almost bm'ing fbh then feeling sorry for him. What stork said was basically:" La Mancha pvt is hard but I beat fbh easily, oh and I feel sorry for him"... lol XD
Thanks for translating.

Im kind of sad FBH didn't make it through but at the same time I'm glad Hydra will now face stork. He deserves it. Stork better not disappoint. Show the power of TBLS
+ Show Spoiler +i still think hydra dumped them all with jaedong because he would have to play 2nd place of group E.
|
Gah what's wrong with u stork. Beat mind and you would've had an easy next round vs light. But now ur vs hydra and it'll be scary.
|
Mind vs Light will be intriguing. Both are solid in TvT.
Stork vs Hydra will be awesome. It's a shame there's going to be a lot of marquee match-ups so early on, but it is what it is. Better to have them than hope for one and never have it appear.
|
Hmm I'm getting the vibe that Stork is being a little condescending to FBH in a friendly joking sort of way. Doesn't seem genuine.

Ugh I really wanted FBH to get through instead of Mind, but I guess you can't have it all.
As for Stork.........Destroy Hydra.......Make him pay.

You could tell by FBH's disappointment in the booth that he had prepared for the MSL with his full dedication, solely concentrating on it. Such is the pain of a man devoid of goal or purpose, which hits the hardest after trying your hardest.
But stork is such a protagonist. After the evil young prince Hydra tries to spoil the tournament by provoking the grandmasters against each other, the it is up to the experienced wise sage Stork to stop his evil deed and liberate the tournament, so that it may be held in peace and harmony. But that is not to happen before the sage is to face his own inner demons through a struggle of having to beat a close friend, a sacrifice necessary to make the grand goal possible.
