I was never a fan of bigger companies buying homegrown talent because I see that as stealing other team's players, but that's just how the world of sports, along with eSports works, and fans can't do anything about that. Yes, that means I never really liked July/Bisu getting bought by SKT as well, because their transfers broke the hearts of many MBC fans. It would be horrible if SKT bought Jaedong, because that would most likely wreck OZ for a while and make SKT simply ridiculously overpowered. But that situation is nearly impossible, so luckily we don't have to worry about that.
Tl;dr I'm a fan of homegrown talent over simply just buying players to bolster your team. But like great said: In the end, everything is about money.
Edit: The only exception to my dislike of teams buying other team's players is if a team desperately needs a stronger player to help them. SKT buying GoRush was a good decision, and even though SKT pretty much sucked the will out of Kwanro to game anymore, I hoped that he would have helped boost SKT's Zerg line. Their transfers weren't approved by CJ fans as well, but GoRush contributed more than Kwanro to SKT.

The news would probably be more like "Flash was crushing Effort in a pingpong Bo7, but then Effort zergling rushed and won the last 3 games in a row."

If teams actually traded players of similar values that would be OK by me, but I never see that happen.
Then again, if KT buys Jangbi and that helps him in any way, I'll consider it a good thing. Maybe he needs a change of scene...?
I guess what I'm saying is that I frown on purchases made when a player is at his peak (Bisu, Light, Kwanro, Luxury) because it really shafts the selling team from a progaming perspective if not from a money perspective. But if a player is transfered when he's having a really hard time, it makes me wonder whether it can't be the best thing for the player.

I'm really not liking these player transfers. Instead of making the teams more balanced, it seems that the strong teams are just getting stronger.
I just hope no one from Oz ever gets stolen by teams like KT, SKT, hite.

True, there is always the possibility that a player transferring to another team does better and goes on a hot streak. IF Jangbi goes over to KT, I hope that their practice environment will help him break out of his slump and go on a rampage again. Then I'd finally sort of somewhat approve of KT buying Jangbi, but if he doesn't improve there, then KT would have wasted their money and time.

member of the kong line? maybe marinekingprime is coming back to bw and joining kt

That totally made my day. Thanks Milkis for keeping us informed. I dearly hope now that no player transfers are involved... Gosh, why is there not a single player on KHAN I don't like? Anyways, after the announcement my first guess was another stupid namechange as well! How'd KT Flats (or Frats ^^) sound?

Considering that there are 3 Kong-line members in Khan: Stork, Jangbi, and Great.
Coach Lee has already denied that Stork is moving.
Great is complaining about another player's move, so he himself isn't going to be moving.
No one has talked about Jangbi yet, even though he is a Kong. Therefore, I have a feeling that Jangbi is going to join Stats and boost the KT Protoss lineup with his amazing storms.

LOL! finally some real humor in this thread!
I think nobody actually knows what the announcement is... So far it seems there has just been speculation about someone else's speculation... creating a downward spiral of crazy ideas... but who knows maybe all this talk of a Khan player transferring to KT is true, but if its not I definitely won't be surprised...

It might be better for KHAN's results if they sold Jangbi. What's up with him anyway?

Lmfao great. Acting as if nothing happened at all. I hope that he was just venting his anger at something else, like evil bad guy characters in a drama or something.

Jangbi said in an interview that he's not as interested in the game as he was before, most likely because he has been losing so many games left and right. Having 2 silvers probably contributed to his loss of interest as well, so I hope that he finds his spark again soon. If he wins against an A or S ranked player though, then that would probably inspire him and motivate him more.
