They're the largest telecom company in Korea. It's just a matter of how much they are willing to spend. Esxactly, my point being, they already spend quite a lot, and they have the results they want (KT took last PL, probably going to go to the finals this season), PLUS they announced sponsoring of GSL. So why would they do an unecessary expense has buying one of the more expensive player on the market, while they don't need him ? But well...maybe they have extra cash and want to make sure they'll rape next season, who knows. When did KT ever announce sponsoring GSL? Afaik it's LG that is sponsoring GSL, not KT.

What if Khan are really selling Stork but it's not KT who are buying him...

Well, considering the difficulties Stork and Jangbi had to sign the september contract, it's not impossible they went for a 6 month contract to try to renegociate if they were doing well.
But even so, I can't find a reason why KT would want to buy Jangbi now :x
Edit : my bad, i really thought KT was the new sponsor oO So nevermind that, they have money to burn !

Maybe in the right practice environment Jangbi would be a beast again.

Midas was just a bench warmer/practice house chef in SKT.
Perhaps a change will do something.

Hopefully.
And for those talking about teams other than KT, remember that the rumors started because of the KT coach, so it wouldn't make sense if it didn't concerned KT. And it has to be a good news for KT, else he wouldn't have hyped it.

I really hope Stork isn't moving to KT btw. This teams are getting unbalanced as it is, Proleague will be ruined if the smaller teams kept having all their players picked off. I suppose this is why the free agent rules were there to begin with, to discourage one team offering best contracts to the top players. There needs to be some way to make things fair :/
Despite Great's statement, KT said the news wasn't as big as EffOrt returning right? A transfer of this importance would definitely be bigger.

Well according to OP it's "following hite entus way [...] big news". So really no idea how big it is.
|
Sigh, why is everyone announcing their announcements now? My heart can't take it.
|
There is also the possibility that the coach just couldn't resist to drop a hint and upon realizing , he is trying to tone down the whole thing by saying " it is nothing big" so people would not speculate like crazy.
After all, it is probably unsettling for Khan ( fans + team) if the whole scene is noisy about it. So KT probably wants to show more "respect"

You heard it here first If it's Jangbi, maybe the first xxxx stands for 올마이티 (almighty)?

Probably not. The term 올마이티 (almighty) is hardly used in Korean SC community.

Ok, seriously... I wasn't checking the thread for quite some time (I am very curious and impatient person and thus i hate announcing announcements) and now all of a sudden there is talk of Stork leaving KHAN? That would be the end for me as Stork fanboy... no way I'm supporting KT!
Just to spread some more: Could it be, that Brave and TurN got rarely sent out (even in critical games) because they are actually moving? Would make sense together with great's vent... but even as I'm writing that, I can't come up with a reason, why KT would want them...
|
Don't think its Stork, maybe Jangbi. The coach said it wasn't as big as Effort's return. Stork's move to Khan would definitely be as big as Effort's return...

ooh we want turn....we do want turn...

This is getting interesting, but honestly Khan wouldn't be Khan without its commander.

I'd take Turn over Perfective or Hoejja any day of the week.

NOOO NOT JANGBI! I couldn't bare to root for him if he was on KT. Also hoping its not stork because that would be just ridiculous, but especially not jangbi! Any one else going to KT would be fine.
And to the speculations surrounding 4 characters, My limited knowledge of hangul tells me that Khan is 4 letters, so it could be that. (although I think that great would no put the correct number of characters to what he was referring to so that people wouldn't be able to do this.)
