Questions from the operator (T/N: They mean the Fomos person who made this article)
1. Your top three websites that you visit? My fan café, Fomos, and Nate
2. Do you visit Fomos a lot? If so, what do you look at the most on that site? I visit the site often and I read a lot of the articles.
3. How did you start Brood War? How did you pick the race Protoss and how do you group your units? Also, how do you set up your hotkeys for your screen? One of my relative hyungs took me to an internet café, which is when I started playing. The standard units for Protoss are relatively stronger than the standard units for other races and it was easier to play as when I first started.
My grouping for my PvZ, for example, would be: 1, 2 – zealots 3 – dragoons 4 – high templars 5 – observer 6, 7, 8, 9 – gateways
I usually put f2 as my main, f3 for gateways, and f4 for my natural expansion
4. What is the longest time you’ve practiced without stopping? I don’t remember the exact time but the most number of games I played continuously in one sitting is 45 to 50 games.
5. If you were a manager and you had to make a team, who would you pick? Please give reasons too (2 Terran, 2 Zerg, 2 Protoss, and nobody from your own team). Terran – Flash and Sea Zerg – Jaedong and Hydra Protoss – Stork and Snow
I don’t have anything to say about the first three players I chose [for each race]. I would pick Sea because he is very consistent and has shown many good performances in Proleague. Hydra seems to be playing very well these days and Snow seems to have a unique style of PvZ that I think is interesting.
6. Which game do you think is your personal best one ever? Worst one ever? And why? My best game would be my first finals match on March 3rd when I won…because I beat Savior, who was the best player at the time. My worst game would be...actually I forget pretty quickly about the games I lose so I can’t remember. I could choose one from my recent games and it would have to be the game I lost to Flash during Winner’s League…I made a lot of mistakes because I was so nervous.
7. When you don’t have matches, are free, etc. what do you usually do? I generally don’t like going outside so I either go home or stay in the team house and watch TV or go on the internet…
8. If you suddenly had the power to do so, what three players would you bring to SKT and why? Flash, Stork, and Jaedong so our team can win…(T/N: and destroy the e-sports industry because TBLS on one team would be so imba no one would want to play anymore)
9. If you could play on another team, which team would it be, and why? I don’t have a team that comes to mind but every team has good players that I want to sit by and learn from. I’m also curious as to what kind of a mindset other teams play with.
10. Who do you think is the greatest player ever and the greatest Protoss player ever? (please don’t pick yourself) Skill-wise it would have to be Flash but the best would have to be Boxer…and for the best Protoss player I pick Nal_ra.
Questions from Fomos’ users
1. Wow I’m such a big fan of Bisu!!! Bisu fighting!!! And thank you so much to the Fomos person who made this possible!! People always applaud cool questions and ignore the boring, common ones. I’ll try to ask you some cool questions.
Question 1: Please list “work, money, dating, fans, teammates, family, friends” in order of importance to you today. Question 2: When do you get feelings like “I really made the right decision to become a progamer! I’m glad I picked Starcraft!”? Question 3: Also, what kind of words from fans give you the most strength? From recent cheering that you have seen, what has left the deepest impact on you?
- I’ll put family as #1 and everything else as #2……..^_^;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; Other people that I know actually have those feelings for me… When a celebrity I knew knew me haha (T/N: no idea what this means..) The time when I get the most support from fans is when they come to the match location and watch me play. It gives me a lot of strength when I start my game ^_^
2. Like a lot of other Bisu fans, I really wish for a second revolution from you…everyone knows your name in the e-sports industry and everyone recognizes the “March 3rd Revolution” where you showed really unique Protoss play in the MSLs. I think it’s about time that you become more ambitious about starleagues. If you got to the finals of a starleague again, who would you want to face and why?
- I’m also pretty disappointed that things don’t always happen my way…I think it would be fun to have a finals with Jaedong…it’s been a while since I’ve done a Bo5 with a Zerg player. Please wait! I will do my best to show a better side of me.
3. Hello, I am a progamer wannabe…haha. When I’m practicing, sometimes I feel lonely and depressed…when you were a just a practice partner, when you felt unsure of yourself or when you couldn’t concentrate, how did you manage yourself?
- One year after I joined POS (T/N: Pirates of Space, now MBC Game) I had a lot of stress about whether to continue playing as a progamer…I think at the time I only thought of good moments and good situations to help me. Don’t think bad thoughts and I hope you just focus on the game!
4. Whenever I see your interviews I think you have a lot of force. When you make public appearances I can feel it but it’s nothing compared when you are actually playing. When you are practicing, do you secretly watch videos of girl groups and want to watch them? I’m also interested in what you are interested in besides games (likes politics, economics, society, culture, sports)
- I don’t think I can really get into anything else besides games…I do like girl groups but I’m not someone whose crazy about them, I just watch them if I see them on somewhere. There are things that leave an impact on me but after about a week I forget about them. I can’t think of anything that I really like…
5. What do you think about your appearance? What is the part of your appearance that you like the most and the least?
- I like my eyes the most. I don’t have any part of my body that I don’t like ^_^
6. I think March 3 would be a very special day for you. How do you see that day as a progamer? Also, I’m wondering if you still have contact with former MBC Game Coach Ha.
- I feel like I’m living a second life because of that day. Even after I moved to SKT, I still talk with a lot of people from MBC Game.
7. A lot of people say that your PvT is bad but what do you think about it? Also, do you feel that your PvZ is more comfortable playing than your PvT (T/N: what kind of question is this omg)?
- I think it’s because Terran has siege tanks but Zerg doesn’t have units like that. I feel like I’m not making progress on my PvT right now but I think I can get better at it if I practice a little harder.
8. I’m really curious as to when you will become friends with Jaedong! You got to know Stork really well in 2009…and I heard you two practice together a lot. Have you not started using informal talk with Jaedong yet? (T/N: Koreans use formal talk to older people, strangers, and acquaintances, and then use informal talk to friends, family, younger people)
- No I actually haven’t started using informal talk to him yet. I guess there will be opportunities in the future to become close to him?
9. Stork once said in an interview that you go a short way if you go alone and you go a long way if you go with someone else. I want to know more about your rivalries. Who do you feel are your rivals and how do you think of your rivalry with Stork?
- It’s not about beating one person and it’s always a pretty close match and fun when I play Stork. A lot of the games that I play with him remain in my memory so I hope we both can play well and meet each other at a higher place!
10. For current progamers, it feels like facing a brick wall if they want to beat Flash, the best player right now, so there’s a lot of anticipation for you since you are an S-class player just like him. Do you have the confidence to beat Flash and do you have a secret plan to do so?
- Flash seems like he could have a weak point somewhere but when you play him he actually doesn’t have any. I wonder what kind of a mindset he practices with and plays matches with. I make a lot of mistakes when I play against really skilled players so if I can decrease the number of mistakes I make, I think I can win.
11. A lot of people in the community say that your carrier micro is bad but how do you usually practice using carriers and how do you feel about your carrier play?
- I used a carrier build on a televised game simply because it went well during practice. It didn’t go very well during the game but I know what I did wrong and I’m working to fix it right now.
12. After I saw you beat some of the greatest players with your amazing Protoss play when you were only just starting your career, I have been your fan for several years now. I think I’ve seen almost every single game you’ve played since that time…so I’m kind of sad that you aren’t doing so well in the individual leagues. Are you making any kind of special preparations to be able to win a Starleague?
- Rather than trying to make a special build or strategy, I’m just focused on practicing as many games because I feel that the fundamentals are really important. I’ll practice hard so that I can show better performances.
13. Hello, ever since the GOM TV starleagues I will forever be Bisu’s fan…^0^ I usually gather all your games and watch them at one time when I’m free. Do you remember a game that you will never forget? Please pick one each from an MSL, OSL, and Proleague.
- I’ve mentioned it once before but I won’t ever forget the date March 3, when I won the MSL. I don’t really have any games that I remember from the OSLs =_=; I guess when I recently beat Mind and Hyvaa and went up the brackets?.......I’ve played so many Proleague games but the games I won against Jaedong are some that come to mind….
14. In TBLS, which player do you feel is the most difficult to face and why? Also, which race do you feel is the hardest to play and why? (I pray for you to win another starleague)
- All three players are hard to face in a game but since my PvT isn’t that great, Flash would be a little more difficult opponent..
15. Among TBLS, you have the most number of fans and the most number of antis as well. How do you feel when you see your antifans?
- Please don’t criticize me harshly when I lose, just appropriately please…getting hit by a whip is ok though! (T/N: I translated this literally...please don't interpret it literally haha)
16. Sending +1 speedlots early in the game against Zerg has been really impressive but now I think they’ve learned to counter it pretty well. You also mentioned that you expected to play Hydra in your interviews. Other players all try to read your builds and counter them…how do you feel about that?
Also, Shine has beaten you several times before but this time you got your revenge, but do you still have confidence to beat him if you meet him again in a match? Also, Zero-Hero-Shine are called the “X-pa” (T/N: no clue what this means but I think the name is supposed to refer to “Bisu beaters”? Iono) so how do you feel about that?
A lot of progamers are having health problems these days so I hope you practice hard and stay healthy. I love you^^
- The zealot rush is simply part of a build that I had prepared before and my opponents just happened to get more damage than I thought they would and after using this kind of build I’ve made a lot of different kinds of builds but I haven’t been able to show them…I’ve beaten my archenemies a lot of times these days so I don’t feel like I have any major enemies right now…
17. Hello Bisu, I am a 20 year old girl T_T who has watched Starcraft for 10 years now…(T/N: Can I have your number?) I played Brood War a little bit when I was in middle school and after I finished the college entrance exams, I’ve started playing again. I’m a Protoss player! Protoss looks really strong and the archon is my favorite unit. I’ve played as Protoss ever since I started playing Starcraft. Please tell me what you think is the beauty of the Protoss race!
- First, I think Protoss buildings are really small and look beautiful. And when units begin to gather together they become incredibly strong…I really enjoy building an army and Protoss takes less micro compared to the other races…so yeah.
18. I think it is a great honor to be able to ask a question to you. First, you have a really good win record but you often lose to Terran players in important matches so a lot of people say your PvT is weak. Your unit movement and amazing multitasking against Zerg players are your greatest strengths but on the other hand your units move too freely against Terrans and a lot of observers say that you don’t play safely enough. What do you feel about this?
These feelings are a lot stronger after I compare you to Stork, who is considered the best PvT player right now. I hear that Stork often watches your VODs to learn more about playing PvZ.
So don’t you watch Stork’s PvT VODs in order to learn something new about PvT? Or is it simply that you are pretty good at PvT during practice but you just haven’t played well in televised matches?
Please tell me the truth without giving a stock answer. Stork once said that he feels confident in his PvT that he doesn’t watch other PvT VODs to practice.
- I watch almost all Protoss players’ VODs. Stork hyung has a style of PvT that I want to learn too. Protoss units die pretty easily if you push them too hard in PvZ and it’s the same in PvT but Terrans have siege tanks and mines which often hurt me a lot more relative to when I play Zerg players. There are a lot of things to fix but it seems like I can’t fix them well.
19. When you played Yellow on…June 6th, 2009? It was a really big thing at the time. What were your feelings when he did an overlord drop on you? It seems like he used a build that you lost to for the first time in your career.
- Yes it was the first time I lost a game to that kind of a build but I remember that my reavers didn’t listen to me very well in that game. I see that game as an experience but Yellow hyung mentions it a lot so it makes me sad ㅠ_ ㅠ
20. You seem really outgoing and talkative when you’re with your teammates but when you do an interview and when you’re on camera, you become timid and you talk timid and why do you become so timid? Aren’t you envious of how Best is always outgoing?
- I think I still haven’t gotten used to being in front of a camera…ㅠㅠ
21. I’m a Bisu fan haha. First, I want to thank the person from Fomos who made this possible and I am going to love Fomos very much for this hahahaha. Bisu, I love…love…I mean I like you haha.
Question!! Even if you are one of the key players in the e-sports industry here, you are still a player so don’t you have some kind of broad goal?? What do you see yourself doing in 10 years? Have you ever thought very specifically about it?
- I hope the fans who cheer for me never forget me. It’s almost happened before. I just want to show the best performances to those who enjoy my games and those who cheer for me! In 10 years I guess I will be a father………..?^^
Bonus: Yes or No questions
1. You see a girl who is very very close to your ideal girlfriend among the fans. Could that girl become your girlfriend? YES
2. The ideal girl for you has a more sexy look rather than a cute look. BOTH
3. Your girlfriend’s age doesn’t matter. YES
4. If you could start playing Starcraft again, you would pick Protoss again. YES
5. Your PvZ is more comfortable to play than PvT (T/N: such a dumb question omg…) YES
More Q/A…
This is a question that Stork asked when we did “30 Questions 30 Answers” with him. “Hey Bisu, I’m not trying to make fun of you but I really like the way you laugh and there a few players in our team that laugh with such a personality like you and I really like it…what do you think?" I think he is exaggerating too much. I think I laugh pretty normally…but I guess I should control my laughing more often when I’m on TV ㅠㅠ…
This is a question that Shin-ae asked when we did “30 Questions 30 Answers” with her. “How do you feel about Ji-in? (The real answer and not a stock answer!!)” (T/N: who is Ji-in lol?) It seems too long ago…please show me the movie!
The next person we are going to do for “30 Questions 30 Answers” is Shark. Please ask a question to Shark that you want the answer to. Seeing you being a good commentator in Proleague makes me feel happy^^ I hear that you are good friends with many celebrities and public figures. Do you have any interest in becoming a good singer or actor?
And finally, please leave a comment for all the fans who like you! Please always stay healthy… And don’t just look right at the life right in front of you, look far into the future. If you wait for me, I will win for you!
5. What do you think about your appearance? What is the part of your appearance that you like the most and the least? I like my eyes the most. I don’t have any part of my body that I don’t like ^_^
I agree with Bisu's statement. Indeed, he is very handsome.
First, I think Protoss builds are really small and look beautiful. And when units begin to gather together they become incredibly strong…I really enjoy building an army and Protoss takes less micro compared to the other races…so yeah.
Agreed. They look as beautiful as Bisu himself.
Homo-erotic jokes aside, it's cool to see a bit of Bisu's personality come through in this interview after so many accusations of him being a "boring" player. It's also interesting to see him hold Flash to such high regard.

Ohhh snap Bisu. If you get married in the future, you better protect your future wife well from the angry fiery wrath of jealous fangirls!
Hahahahah, so many golden moments to comment about. Stork is totally making fun of Bisu's laugh, and apparently Bisu is a masochist if he wants to get whipped instead of criticized harshly... It's nice to see that some of Bisu's answers answer the questions people ask the most about, such as why Bisu's PvT isn't that good as his BvZ, why his Carrier play is so lackluster, why he's so shy and introverted, etc., but yeah, some of them were kinda... Obvious. I really hope he gets used to the camera soon, but shy Bisu will be shy.
You are a Fomos article slayer, are you planning to do the other recent articles they featured? If you are, they're super long, so I wish you the best of luck! Thank you very much for translating as always! ^^ *Expects to see a huge row of T1 tags in this thread*

SC2 will die before SC1 for sure.
less than a page of posts in... and theres talk abt sc1 vs sc2...

I think that he's implying something with the "whipped" statement. The word he uses literally means to get a whipping, so I think he's actually saying, "It's okay if I get beaten!" So it's like, even though he gets a beating/thrashing/owned by another player, it's okay to him. But it's never okay to Bisu to lose to Shine
I find it a shame Bisu doesn't have any other interests besides Starcraft. No books, intellectual aspirations, artistic side, science/technology related, sports, etc...hell, American celebrities have their opinions on things such as politics. You would think that since he doesn't have many other hobbies (like Stork and cell phone games), his PvT would reach the same level as his PvZ. I am curious to see what kind of girl Bisu goes for since he said 'both' to cute or sexy. Someone should have asked him if he could pick any girl he could be with, who he would pick.

Some players get criticized for their hobbies though. Jaedong closing his Twitter is a good example of people going, "If you focused more on Starcraft, then you could have done better!" It is good to have a hobby, but since they're progamers, almost all of their focus is on playing Starcraft only. I'm pretty sure that Bisu is an avid fan of K-Pop girl groups and soccer/football though. Almost every young guy in Korea is.
On March 06 2011 04:59 2GRe-Play- wrote: but why ppl dont include Question: Have u played SC2?? will u switch to SC2 when SC1 becomes obsolete? or less atractive?
Because SC2 probably won't be around when SC1 becomes obsolete.
I thought at first that it was interesting that Bisu chose Sea... then I remembered they used to be teammates. And that Flash/Fantasy are the only good Terrans LOL

omg am I the only one intrigued by this?! I mean this is what I've been thinking about after EVERY SINGLE of his series loss! He just treats the games as if it was some random proleague match. Yea, there were series when he prepared a special strategy for one map, but if you compare him to fantasy for example.. if it wasn't for fantasy's strategic preparations with oov and boxer, I think he wouldn't have made a single starleague final.
When a celebrity I knew knew me haha (T/N: no idea what this means..)
He was perhaps recognized by a celebrity?
- I don’t think I can really get into anything else besides games…
This is quite depressing :/ he mentioned it in several interviews.. makes you think how hard a programmer's life must be.

Well how many other Terrans have made a won a league from 2009-present? None. How many other Terrans have made a finals from 2009-present? None. How about if you add semifinals? Light and Iris. And that's it.
Hahaha, I love how he would bring in JD, Flash, Stork on his team. That would be the most imbalanced force in all of gaming.
I like how Bisu analyzed when asked who was the best player. It really show that even though Flash is the most skilled player ever (in Bisu's opinion) hes not the best.

I could care less what Bisu's personality is like. The important thing is that he produces some of the most exciting BW games. Bisu's means of expressing himself isn't necessarily through words or other socially accepted hobbies/sports. He does it by gaming (where he's an amazing artist). I think on a gaming forum we should be more accepting of this than mainstream society.
LOL at TBLS on the same team. I am pretty sure everyone would quit and go play SC2 rather than just lose all day long. It's a good thing they're all on different teams.

It sounds kind of sad and lonely.
You just have to remember, they're essentially Olympic athletes. The sheer time they spend training to put on a show for us, where would any other time come from really?
It's almost like a puppy mill. (In fact, could I just get someone in the know the answer...how do the players feel in general about the conditions? Is there any regulation in the industry really or is it all loose?)
I just wish there was more I could do from the US to support the scene.
Either way, thanks for the translations and always nice to see anything Bisu related.

It's not his dedication to the game I'm questioning; it's that he doesn't seem to have much of a world view, no apparent life philosophy that he abides that makes me think 'wow he's really insightful,' no political opinions, religious views, no interests in something that isn't superficial.
Hell, take many famous athletes or celebrities, and they have PLENTY of interesting insights into the world (regardless of whether or not I agree with it). From people like Bruce Lee, Michael Jordan, Lady Gaga, Arthur Rubinstein, etc...they all have something that shows that they aren't a shallow husk.
Even Jaedong and Flash have a certain spark to them that makes me think they're interesting people.

Keep in mind, the progamers are in Korea, and with Korea's conservative culture and shy as hell young progamers, they can't take the risk to state their own personal opinions about a touchy topic, or else they'll face endless flames from the notorious Korean netizens and their reputation will basically go for a nosedive. It's reeeally risky to be outspoken in Asia, and yes, while you can be outspoken there and state your own views and opinions on things and such, don't expect a young progamer who is still not even an adult yet to take that risk.
But yeah, Bisu is just more afraid to be flamed than Flash and Jaedong. Jaedong is a bit iffy about netizen comments as well, but Flash might as well be oov's successor when it comes to his personality, hahaha.
Bisu seems so dedicated to trying to do his best. Hope be continues to do well! I wonder what his new PvZ strats are. If they're more beastly than his currently Zealot timings he'll be even more unstoppable in that matchup.
5. If you were a manager and you had to make a team, who would you pick? Please give reasons too (2 Terran, 2 Zerg, 2 Protoss, and nobody from your own team). Terran – Flash and Sea Zerg – Jaedong and Hydra Protoss – Stork and Snow
When he mentioned Sea, I just smile when read it :D

Even Jaedong and Flash have a certain spark to them that makes me think they're interesting people.
I don't know what his "world views" are and neither do you. Just because he doesn't express them to the public doesn't mean he's got nothing else going on in his head. And celebrities often do express their views publicly because they love attention and it's often their business to attract that attention.
Bisu is passionate about a game and he spends a lot of time working at it. That's hardly superficial. What about all the celebrities you see on TV who latch on to the first popular movement or charity to get publicity? That in my opinion is what's really superficial.
Again, just because Bisu doesn't express his life philosophies for the whole world doesn't mean he doesn't have any. Our world today is so focused on extroverts and the media that I feel like introverts like Bisu seems to be get a rather poor shake.

You can generally understand how someone might be in person from their comments, body language and actions. Even if progamers don't say a lot, you can still get a decent idea of how introverts (all progamers are basically introverts) like Jaedong are in person because everyone shows expressions once in a while...they are human after all. Bisu doesn't really do much of anything outside of the sound proof booth.
I agree with Assymptotic, Bisu is basically an enigma to me. Their personality isn't really relevant but he seems to have so little of one that it make him seem more similar to a kickass Starcraft playing robot than a human player, his most defining characteristic is literally "he is a handsome person".

Bisu's means of expressing himself isn't necessarily through words or other socially accepted hobbies/sports. He does it by gaming (where he's an amazing artist). I think on a gaming forum we should be more accepting of this than mainstream society.
It's not his dedication to the game I'm questioning; it's that he doesn't seem to have much of a world view, no apparent life philosophy that he abides that makes me think 'wow he's really insightful,' no political opinions, religious views, no interests in something that isn't superficial.

After club hopping with some friends last night (and consequently, dealing with fake people), I've been thinking about this a little more and I think you have a point. Mind you I'm strongly introverted as well, which lead me to initially believe Bisu didn't have much going on up in his head. I usually can quickly pick up on people who are similar to me, whether it's through text or face to face interaction, so I expected something to shine through, whether it's dry wit or underlying cynicism, and none of the 30 questions lend themselves to really well-thought out answers. Doing some introspection on myself, I find that people (usually extroverts) often misunderstand my brevity, or assume nothing's going on because I don't say very much in conversation, which is not the case at all. Hopefully Bisu has something more.
Glad to see some personality shining through the interview. For too long TL holds Bisu as some type of e-sport sex symbol and will probably continue to do so for the next decade or so.
I always found Bisu to look more charming, sophisticated and energetic back when he was in MBC. Whenever I look at Bisu's photos in MBC uniform, I found them to have more individuality. Did the training method of SKT cause Bisu to lose some parts of himself?
I think you guys need to cut Bisu some slack about having/not having a personality when he does his interviews. You have to remember that he has probably been asked these kinds of questions hundreds of times and could be slightly annoyed. How many TLers would be interested in what kind of girl he likes? Since he is good-looking, this kind of a question probably naturally comes up on TLers minds as well as the thousands of fangirls that he has.
Remember that when we look at him, he is a unique individual that we want to learn more about but when he looks at us, we're a faceless mob, a giant audience. I think that with the celebrity status he has, it becomes difficult for him to carefully and thoughtfully answer EVERY SINGLE question that comes his way, especially if they are repeats.
"One of my relative hyungs took me to an internet café, which is when I started playing. The standard units for Protoss are relatively stronger than the standard units for other races and it was easier to play as when I first started" LOL Same here.
Maybe its just me, but I've noticed that before, when bisu wasn't on a roll like now, he said protoss was hard to play. Now he is saying "when units begin to gather together they become incredibly strong…I really enjoy building an army and Protoss takes less micro compared to the other races…so yeah."
That is a lot of fun! I cant wait till SC2 players are as popular and as favorably portrayed as some of the BW classics. Bisu seems like a really cool guy. I do wish him the best in getting to another finals.
FYI Snow, when Bisu calls your PvZ "unique and interesting", you've just won at life.
You guys who complain that Bisu doesn't have a personality surely doesn't understand how it is to be shy. All the doubts and second-guessing about your words and actions. The seriousness when dealing with others and how it leads to overthinking. The reason why shy ppl don't go to parties is because they know they wouldn't talk to anyone they didn't know before.
7. When you don’t have matches, are free, etc. what do you usually do? I generally don’t like going outside so I either go home or stay in the team house and watch TV or go on the internet…

Kim Taek Yong hwaiting!
Im also something thinking back to the whole Jaedong quite Twitter thing,
fans like to hear that their favourite sports star is living the ascetic life to be at the top of his/her game.
For players like Stork, it works as they see him as having the attitude and panache to be 'different' and comment on his cell-phone. Bisu is a much more straight player, and i think especially as he isnt achieving as much as he once did, it's dangerous for him to proclaim some special hobby. Even so, Stork is often considered a bit of an underachiever because it seems like he doesnt apply himself as wholeheartedly as players like Flash (or Bisu).
I think for public appeal, it's also dangerous for Bisu to come out and say a topic that would alienate certain fans, or open a can of worms: eg. if he says he's passionate about politics, he gets asked on his views, he says them, and then loses a lot of fans...
I think the big players have some sort of instructions on public appeal, such as how enigmatic Boxer is, and even just seeing the progression of how Jaedong, Bisu and Flash from when they first started in interviews to how they are now. Bisu always comments for his fans to stay warm and keep well seems half-bizzare if he wasnt thinking about his greater public image.
Holy shit Bisu is dedicated to BW...but I think he needs to start treating his starleague games differently than the "just another match" attitude so he can win one D:
picked snow for his pvz? snow's pvz rate isn't particularly high though. i would have picked snow for his pvt
who wouldn't get nervous while playing against flash?
overall, great questions and answers. i used to be a bisu anti-fan (don't really know why but i think it had something to do with him constantly complaining about maps, even though they were legit complaints). now i'm okay with bisu's awesomeness and feel that protoss should win more games/titles!

He's referring to Snow's stellar performance against JD in the ro8. Undeniably one of the best PvZ sets.
