Thoughts on a 3-kill?
-My first 3-kill makes me glad, but when I think about how if I got one more win, I would’ve been the first Zerg to get an All-kill this season, I’m more disappointed than glad.
Recently you haven’t been fulfilling your role as an ace, are you hurt?
-Our team has too many good players, it’s hard to grasp the chance. When sent out, you have to seize the opportunity, but I kept wasting them. This time I got a 3-kill, so I think I should have a good performance in the rest of the R4 games.
All the players who All-killed STX in the STX Cup finals fell to you today.
-When Hyuk was sent out, I thought, SKT must be purposefully sending out players who All-killed us before. But I didn’t think I’d lose. And I couldn’t lose.
Fantasy’s Wraith strategy was effectively defended by you. Did you have thoughts after watching the first game?
-After fantasy put down 2 Starports, he seemed to be preparing for late game management. After seeing game 1, I thought “if I can get the SK troops in one assault I’d win,” and I’m glad the result was the same as I thought.
Last time Bisu made a comeback win, you must’ve wanted to win today. But you lost again today, are you even more hurt now?
-I’ve strangely lost to Bisu many times this season. When I saw Bisu was sent out as the ace, I thought this is the one time I couldn’t lose, so I played very carefully, but I still lost. Oddly I always lose by a little bit, which makes me even angrier [laugh]
Will you be continuing the multi-kills?
-Even though I got a 3-kill, it would’ve been sad if Kal lost. Kal’s handsome victory improved our team’s atmosphere. We have the image of being weak in front of SKT, so I hope we can silence these comments.

Thoughts on STX getting a winning streak?
-Even though I would often have the lead in games, but I would always make mistakes and the opponent would stage a comeback. This time I made the comeback, it’s like I came back from Hell alive. If we can preserve this momentum, we can keep winning.
You must’ve thought you wouldn’t even have a chance to play.
-Calm-hyung had such a strong momentum, I thought he could All-kill. But when Calm-hyung lost, and Frozean played on Aztec which is hard for TvP, I thought I could have a chance. It’s been a while since I’ve played ace, I was excited and nervous. But now I feel like I’m finally alive after a long struggle [laugh]
Did you think you could revive yourself in the ace game?
-I’m always calm in non-ace games, but I’m always nervous playing ace games. I think it’s an okay feeling, I hope I get this feeling often.
You had the opening advantage, but mistakes cost you the lead.
-I did indeed have the advantage in the opening, but after I lost the Observer I couldn’t confirm the opponent’s build. I guessed he’d have a similar build as mine, but his Reavers came out too fast, so I couldn’t play well after that.
Why did you suddenly fall behind?
-After I won the first engagement I made a new gas expansion, so I thought I was in the lead. But I didn’t build up my infrastructure, and my Gateways didn’t keep up with the timing. It was frustrating. After the I lost the big engagement in the center Calm-hyung’s face and the head coach’s face popped up in my mind [laugh]
You got a decisive victory in the last engagement.
-I had spare resources, and I played well in the engagement and the opponent made mistakes, so I could get a decisive win. I myself think it’s a bit incredible [laugh]
You always seem to beat Bisu in important games.
-I lost often normally, but for the important timings I could always step up [laugh] Thinking back, I still feel a bit guilty.
The opponent was SKT, so you must’ve wanted to win.
-I gritted my teeth and when I stepped up today. When preparing, all I did was practice to snipe fantasy and Bisu. I was confident that I could play a spectacular game if I got the chance to play.
It’s been a long time since we saw both C(K)als step up.
-If the team’s supporting pillars fall, the team would go to the bottom of the rankings. I hope that Calm-hyung and I can, through today’s game, play even better now. I hope we’re the team that gets the last laugh.

-Even though it’s only one win, I beat the other team’s ace, which makes me glad. We’re about to play KT, so I’ll work hard to defeat their ultimate weapon Flash, and I hope everyone comes to cheer us on.
