id be really interested in how many hours per week they had to dedicate to school. cant be THAT much tbh... i dont think its possible to be the best player in an environment as competitive as starcraft if you have to spend for example... 30 hours a week on other stuff like school and learning.

but still a great feat to finish school while being a successful progamer, gz to both of them.

Doesnt that mean Flash and Stats need to go to the army soon if they do not go for higher education?

I don't think its necessarily like that, for example isn't Jaedong enrolled on some "online university" which can delay the army a few years as well, and then of course even if they don't do all that there are progamers like Nada who didn't go and he's like 28ish years old now, so he'll have to go coming up, but if you don't go voluntarily you could go as late as in your 30's (ie: nalra)

Cool. Now flash can focus 100% on kicking ass and taking names.
I'm going to sleep, let me get some of that carpet.

So they weren't at school full time right? How could they possibly complete it in the usual period of time then?

This could actually become a very bad thing. As Tester and a few other progamers have mentioned, they don't think its so much about the age that gets to them, its the privileges of becoming an adult that gets to them. And by gets to them, I mean start playing badly, like Boxer, who hasn't really been relevent in the BW scene for quite a while now. Now, Stats and Flash can drink and do whatever they want to do now.

And for those of you who say that they can finally focus, its not like school was really time consuming for these two. They didn't have to get up in the morning, go to school, come back, do homework, and then practice. They didn't really go to school, or do homework, at least not much because they were so involved in progaming.

I'm quite curious as to how hard the classes they took were and what sort of grades they got. Because it certainly doesn't take that much dedication in the US to pass the bare minimum requirements for high school with a 2.0. (TBH though Flash's personality makes it impossible for me to imagine him getting bad grades. He's just such an archetypal "good kid.")

They've certainly accomplished a lot more impressive things than passing high school, but congrats to them anyway for making it through the rite of passage.

I am so happy for Kim Dae Yeob and Ee Young Ho, finally getting past the first step to Chintegrating into society. With no Chinsincerity in my heart, I hope he has some Chinkling of what he will do after his days of Toss badassery have passed and makes plans to enroll into higher educational Chinstitutions. Truly, for a man who is chogosu and has a degree can expect hinc et Chinde prosedae.

And now flash is actually gonna take sc seriously. This is so scary.

Really though, it's amazing they've managed to do that while playing pro sc, which is quite a dedication! Gz to both of them!

I bet his attendance was under 30% and his tests were passed with out him being there.

They must have given him a pretty slack curriculum. I refuse to believe he had a regular schedule or workload.

maybe he could bribe his examiners by giving them some free bw coaching sessions. ^^

if idra can take 150$ per hour for his coaching, one hour with flash should easily be worth 500$
