▲ When I arrived at the stadium, I was hoping to play a Protoss. Recently, I've been doing well in TvP, and what do you know, I got a Protoss. Even though I was at a disadvantage in the early game, my timing push was very successful, and I won.
- You seem to have matured a lot. (T/N LOL?)
▲ I think people are naturally good at adapting. I just adapted to my new environment. I think of myself as a soldier now.
- Today's match involved a lot of strategy (*)
▲ After joining the military, I have learned to be more calm and composed. During my 7 weeks of boot camp, I could only play Starcraft in my head. Now, I can finally execute the builds and openings I thought about during that time, and since I'm more calm now, my win rate is improving.
(*) (T/N as opposed to tactics, I think? 今天的比赛非常具有战略性).
- We heard that you only joined the Air Force because your results were poor last season.
▲ That's about right. But when I came over here, I rediscovered my original passion for Starcraft, and started finding enjoyment in the game again. I'm very different from before.
- Because
RuBy is on your team, did you think you'd get such an opportunity to win so early in the season?▲ To be honest, I didn't think I would be sent out this early. I know that it takes at least a month to adjust to military life, but the head coach really trusted me and sent me out. I felt no pressure during the match.
- Was it hard to stop yourself from laughing? (T/N: or performing ceremonies
)▲ Not really. I am capable of being serious in front of the camera, but in this case the more I tried not to laugh, the funnier it was, so I had to laugh.
- Thoughts on this season?
▲ This is still the beginning of the season, so if I maintain my condition well, I'll perform better. The elder team members are very very good to me, and I'd really like to thank them. I'll work harder, and become a feared opponent. (T/N: Chinese: "become an ever victorious player.")
- Last words?
▲ There's still another month until the trainees come in; I'm waiting eagerly. (laughs)
Gorush:- Thoughts on winning?
▲ Earlier in the 3rd set, we had an advantage but lost it, which was very disappointing. So I resolved that I had to win today, and I'm really glad I won, since the elder should encourage the younger players.
- Last time, you lost to
ZerO in a base race.▲ If I recall correctly, that was the first match this season. I haven't played televised matches in so long, so even I didn't expect to be that nervous. I was angry at myself for making so many mistakes that I never make in practice. It was very embarrassing; even I was appalled at those kinds of mistakes.
- After the older players were discharged, ACE has gone in a better direction*.
▲ Our lineup's composition (depth) has improved a lot. Our racial balance is better. This isn't to say that the older players were bad, but it is true that we are heading in a better direction. I think that we practiced the hardest out of all the 10 teams over the off-season. We practiced very late into the night every day of our rigorous off-season practice schedule, and that hard work has finally begun to pay off. Also, (some officer -- 中央战线的所长) gave us a lot of support, and I think our strategies have improved.

- How do you think ACE will do this season?
▲ Many people say that if I win, ACE will win. If all the older players played at their full strength, we'd have no trouble making the playoffs. Now that the new recruits are here, our lineup is stronger, so it's important for me to be a good example. We will work hard to make the playoffs.
- Your strategy today was quite good.
▲ This was a prepared build; I thought of it as soon as I saw the map. It's very hard to defend against this build on this map, and back when I was at SKT, Rumble hyung used a similar strategy. This build won a lot in practice.
- Individual goals for this season?
▲ I have one task--I have to win 20 games before being discharged, and I hope I can achieve that.
- Last words?
▲ Not long again, the former ACE coach told me, "It looks like if you win, the team wins." Even though I still had shortcomings in my match, at least I won. I'd like to thank (same officer as above) for his unwavering support. Also, before, I was on a losing streak, but the head coach and team all persisted in believing in me, so I'm very thankful.
Much & M18M:- Thoughts on winning?
▲ Much: I've been losing more and more recently, and hoped to change the atmosphere (trend) a bit. Happily I won, and the atmosphere is changing again.
▲ M18M: It was a great feeling to win my first official PvZ. Today my parents and sister were here to watch, so I'm very glad to have won.
- Both your results have been strong, with 4 wins and 2 losses.
▲ Much: I've been pretty lucky. I hope this luck lasts all season.
▲ M18M: Since I'm still new here, I would've been happy with just 1 win. I'll work hard to keep up my enthusiasm until the end.
- Much, you were disadvantaged in the opening.
▲ Much: I felt like I was in a deep hole, but thought that if I could win one head-on engagement, I'd win. My opponent tried to contain me, but when his DTs lost their chance to get in my base, I just A-clicked into his base.
- M18M, this was your first PvZ win.
▲ I lost a lot of probes at first, so I was a bit unsettled, but I hit my groove, so winning was easy. I had good luck.
- M18M, you've improved a lot since you've joined the Air Force.
▲ M18M: I've think I've only improved because the whole team has taught me a lot. Actually, I'm not really sure why I've gotten better. I've always had confidence. I didn't take advantage of my opportunities at Samsung, but once I joined the Air Force, I've proven myself to some extent. Still, I'm not really sure if I'm performing well or if I'm just lucky. I'll work harder and win through my skill.
- Much, you've been a key player in both of ACE's wins.
▲ Much: I'll keep working hard. Though right now, I've been called ACE's Ace (T/N lololol), I still don't think it's quite fitting. I'll work hard and win so that I'll truly deserve this title.
- Last words?
▲ Much: Winter is coming, so fans should be careful about getting colds and dress warmly. I'd also like to thank our fans for their loyal support.
▲ M18M: This is just the beginning. I'll continually improve and become a strong player, and won't disappoint everyone's hopes.
