Wonder if SKT will try their best to retain Hyuk. From interviews it seems s2 and soo look up to him as the SKT Zerg who paved their way, even though Hyuk's performance isn't that great right now. To be honest if I were in charge I'd try to develop another terran. It's kind of wild nowadays how SKT T1 reagularly fields 2 protosses, 1 terran, and 3 zergs as their lineup. Leta's transfer might be good for a lot of teams, and maybe for him, too. But you never know how a player reacts to the new team culture. I know how we always think that "player X IS team Y" and react poorly to a team change, but without the possibility of team changes teams have no incentive to pay and treat their players well. Only two players eligible though, what a small number. Could be good for them because any team looking to change their lineup only have those two choices, so they could get a lot of offers...well if politics don't get in the way, like whatever actually happened with that Jaedong thing in the past. But I hope Hyuk being transferred away won't affect SKT's zergs in a similar way to the rumor about how Frozen's transfer away from Samsung affected that team. But I have a feeling the transfer might happen because of SKT T1's huge culling of its B-team just a short while ago. Either the sponsor is pushing the team to reduce costs (probably) or they're dropping lots of players to try to recruit a new batch (where would they come from?) but both scenarios don't necessarily point towards SKT really wanting to retain Hyuk. Well CJ's has only one "proleague" championship (as GO) but don't forget they have 3 more KPGA Tour/MBCGame Team League victories too, so it's not as if their team history is one with no victories. | ||

I don't see Hyuk leaving SKT. They have such a weak zerg lineup and he was their most consistent zerg throughout the PL season, even if he faltered toward the end of R5 and playoffs. | ||

Honestly, I think Stars or Khan need a terran more. And for the SKT1 terrans? It's just Fantasy. Boxer is moving into the coach role, ssak is way too old to do anything, Canata's last hoorah. What SKT needs is another star player and they will be the prohibitive favorites for next years Proleague. | ||

Considering that he already has nice TvZ and decent TvT, once he gets his TvP up and running, he definitely will be a force to reckon with. And I'm sure Leta was close to Yarnc, Type-B, and Go.Go, since they were all regular A-teamers like him. He probably lost most of his closest friends and is now on a terrible team. I'm sure he's friends with lots of other programers. | ||
