first of all, sorry about Korean. This is a table of flash's proleague records.

From left to right
Date, Round, Opposite team, Set, Opposite player, Race, Map, result, Win, Lose, Rate,
need of winning to make 90%, straight win, straight lose.

as you know, it has not happend that a player made a 90% record in a single league,
especially proleague in which one player could play so many games.

Flash temporary made a 90% record, but it's broken soon.
90% means if he loses just one game, then he has to win 9 game straight,
That's why it is so hard to make 90%.

A possitive thing is he got 3win and no lose at the last proleague match.
if he had lost the game against Light, he would have needed 23wins,

To make a 90% record, he now needs just 13(?) wins straight.
Of course, if he lose just one game, making 90% will almost become impossible.

Korean fans say to flash 'A trash who cannot make a 90% record.' for a joke of affection.

Flash's record in proleague so far.

vs T 20 games, 17wins, 3loses (85.0%)
vs Z 16games, 16games, 1lose(93.8%)
vs P 11games, 9wins, 2loses(81.8%)

the table and what I post are basically from pgr21.com

'A trash who cannot make a 90% record.'

This is hilarious.

But in all seriousness, only 13 wins, huh. Winning OSL and all-kills in Winners League...how many would that be?

Ah..This is only in proleague, not including OSL or MSL.
So what he needs is 13wins only in Proleague.

Oh oops..so the TLPD contains non-proleague data, huh. Is there a sticky I missed somewhere that outlines the different kinds of leagues?

Can't believe he's winning so much in PL especially when he has to play with his basic skills against teams that have people prepared to snipe him all the time. For Flash, I don't think 13 wins is impossible at all.

O_o

These stats are insane. And while getting such a ridiculous record in PL he also won the OSL and reached the final in MSL. I do not think he'll end PL win 90%, but he can definitely stay above 85%.

The rest of KT needs to slack off a bit so he can get more ace matches after the WL is over.
It's supposed to be automatic but actually you have to press this button.

=P

I don't really think it's possible. 13 straight wins? Nah. Especially since Winner's league is about to end, so he'll be limited to at most 2 games per match, and with individual seasons coming up.

That would mean he would have to go trough R4 unbeaten, even for Flash I think that's impossible.

13 consecutive wins in proleague seems impossible.

flash is crazy good 90% win rate

makes you wonder why we even consider a 60% win ratio to be good, if you think about it 4 losses every 10 games is pretty bad (Stork still has 60%)

I have my doubts. As Leta has proven recently, defeating Flash straight up is very much possible.
It would be insane if he actually manages to achieve 90% win rate...He did break 2400 ELO after all...and is still breaking it.

This is kind of like asking if Joe Mauer can keep a .400 batting average. After July 1st last year his average was .392 (and it had been above .400 at times in May and June), so everybody was talking about it, but he played like the rest of the mortals in the MLB for the remainder of the season and ended with "only" a .365 and an AL batting title.

Best of luck to Flash anyway! I doubt he'll pull it off, but he has a shot.

As much as I like Leta, as Stork said all of the 3 and 4-player maps (and in some matchups even the 2-player maps) have massive positional advantages and therefore players have to practice more than 1 strat per map, even if they are trained as snipers for the sole fact that they may get a disadvantageous position.

i think it's very possible but not very likely. even if he has a 90% chance to win any match, it drops to 25% chance to win 13 straight. Still, I hope he does it, it would be more amazing (his rec is already amazing)

I think it is more likely to win straight 13 games in a row in the standard format than WL. Sniping seems much more powerful during WL when you don't know which map and which player you will end up playing. Additionally, there is no way one can prepare for all the matches at all the maps vs different races.

But still it seems very unlikely...

I think it's scary that Flash is playing at the *pro level*-- people who should be around his skill level. His performance is extremely dominating, and kind of shows how far he is ahead of everyone else in the world.

How can one person be so good at this game?

Ya, I don't get how he can be that much better than everyone else who also spend literally (almost) all their time just practising and practising.

um maybe my math is wrong here but 10-1 is more than 90 percent 9-1 equals 90 percent that is 9 out of 10

16+17+9 = 42 ... plus the 12 wins = 54 ....... 54 and 6 = 90 percent
by my very very SIMPLE math it is 12 wins ... the reason we swallowed somewhere around 13 to be true is who would second guess 1st grade arithmetic ... its not like this is advanced calculus ... i like how you took the time to imply something about every reader of this thread without taking the time to make sure you were correct ,, about something so mundanely SIMPLE

its 13 wins dammit.
do your algebra.

(x-6) / x = .90
x = 60 games.
60 games minus the 6 losses = 54.

There's an error on the first page, it says 16 games vZ, and then shows 16-1 record. If he is really 16-1 then it's 12 games, otherwise 13 games.

I am not sure the op numbers are right but he says 16 games versus zerg then says 16 wins 1 loss which equals 17 games this is the number i was using ,.,.... so in this event i was correct 12 wins .......use your reading comprehension skills

17+3=20 ..... 16+1 = 17 ( note this is YOUR ERROR ) .. 9+2 =11
20+17+11 = 48 ...... 60-48 ==== 12 ..... ARE YOU DISPUTING THIS ????????? It doesn't even take algebra ; simple arithmetic will do if we all agree 54of 60 = 90 percent

I think the 16-1 is supposed to be 15-1 (count the match list)

that would explain everything and it would be 13 wins needed -.-
