k so they used to play this song at the last dance of summer nerd camp and it's conditioned me to tear up and be super nostalgic. someone record this please, so i can download it, forget about it and unearth it again in 10 years and bawl my heart out

Ogg is usually Vorbis, all media players (except iTunes?) support it. You can probably open it in Windows Media Player too if you have the codec installed (ffdshow)

I added an [audio] tag to the TL bbcode, you can use it to embed Ogg Vorbis files for HTML5 compatible browsers, use it just like the [img] tag.

Brood War will never die. SC2 will carry it's spirit and legacy into the future. =)
But really, I hate all this talk of BW dying. To me, SC2 is merely a new phase of the StarCraft community and professional scene, not the beginning of one and the end of another.

On more serious note. Maybe it will change in the further OSL/MSL rounds but you can see there's not many people on the LR thread. I remember some rounds of TSL where there was barely any people.

I don't play ICCUP that much anymore (not because of SC2!) but whenever I do, losing to Koreans is as much fun as ever--the day that Broodwar died is still a long ways off, my friends.
That said, Motbob is awesome!

To add to your post. MSL, OSL, SPL and Winnders League are gone. All the teams, all the players. If this doesn't sadden you to the bone I don't know what you've been following these years. Yes there are foreigners and other tournaments. They've always been there and they never could compare to the Korean scene. Right now SC2 isn't stacking up to BW and neither is the foreigner scene. Is it possible this will change? Of course. But it's a way to go and work to be done. I'm celebrating CJ and rejoicing over fond memories to a great fan made song. If this doesn't tickle your fancy, by all means go watch some gambit cup from last year and have a cool drink of water. Scene as we know it is still dead.
