Mumyung sucked though. The guy was just terrible. No wonder SKT zergs failed left and right. Having Mumyung as your coach wouldn't help you win.
=D
Fuck. You youngsters have no respect for old schoolers. Next thing I'll hear "Boxer is trash."

fo shizz, i remember a period of time when he was particularly well respected for his ZvZ. a lot of people forget that he did have to climb to the top of gaming as an amateur and that's nothing to scoff at.

Gorush is also a possible candidate. So is Yellow.
It all depends on how big SKT's wallet is. Oversky's retired and he would have been made a coach already if he could. Gorush and Yellow still have a good amount of air force time left. No way in hell Yellow would coach at T1, hes a KTF player originally and was for a long time and he wouldn't coach for their arch rivals. Hence why I said it depends on how big SKT's wallet is. For the right salary, even Yellow will coach SKT. As for Oversky, he retired, yes. But face it, the demand for a Zerg coach from a high budget team probably wasn't available at the time of his retirement. If you read Oversky's retirement interview as I did, you would realize that Oversky isn't very sure about the direction of his future. His intention was to take a break first and then return to school. Boxer should be friendly with Oversky as they were teammates back on ACE. With the right salary and incentives, I don't see why Oversky wouldn't want to coach SKT. Oversky is a consistent Panel in Kingdom's Manner Pylon show He said he wanted to be a caster if he could rather than a Coach (old episode from 뒷담화) And no man, Yellow will not go to SKT. The same reason why iloveoov and Stork didn't go to KTF
Ya what he said!

Mumyung leaves SKT and suddenly SKT Zergs start delivering. Coincidence, or late vindication of the Mumyung-haters?
Does anyone know if SKT picked up an old Zerg for their coaching staff, or has oov given up on fantasy and started focusing on the Zergs?

^ did u read the PL interviews??

Ah no, I hadn't read the last one, from the SKT vs eSTRO match --
The Zerg line-up, with Hyuk, is on the rise. -Recently, Assistant Coach Cha Ji Hyun took over the Zerg lineup, and we now have a 5-1 record. He helped the Zergs improve a lot, and he would often talk with us. He wasn’t a progamer, but he’s very good, and he has a deep understanding of Starcraft, and he’s very good at helping players adjust psychologically to games.

Didn't Oov try to go to KTF, but was forced to terminate the contract due to violation of his contract with SKT? And that scandal caused Kespa to create "Free Agency".
Oh, and SKT Zergs are a power house now after MuMyung left. Coincidence? I think not.

I guess the special training Bisu is recieving, after all, is about him switching to zerg.

=D Fuck. You youngsters have no respect for old schoolers. Next thing I'll hear "Boxer is trash." Nah, I'll always hold Mumyung as a second tier player, comparable to someone like Junwi or a Jju. Kinda like someone who everyone knows about, is there, plays a lot, but doesn't really get anywhere or do much. No disrepest at all, I just didn't think he was all that great.

he's my favourite player because he makes terran look good. also when he wins its a huge surprise and i like surprises like that. lol

Doctor.K methinks

Mumyung was an old school player and peaked earlier and then plateaued and never quite got up to the top level ever again. Sure, he was the Dual Tournament/Challenge League bonjwa, but OSL failure. Personally, never really liked the guy and I think its just funny how everybody's mentioning the rise of SKT Zergs since MuMyung left.

Although I'm not a fan of Doctor.K I'm sure they wouldn't have hired him to be the Protoss Couch if they weren't confident in his abilities to couch. That being the key here, maybe he wasn't the best player, but that doesn't mean he didn't have the strategical prowess and great game analyzing ability. Maybe he just wasn't fast enough, didn't have the drive to practice hours on end, etc.
