THere is no sense at all in what you said...
I don't think any of the progamers ever gave a shot at wc3.... ofc they would never win a game... that doesn't mean they suck. At least moon has already played sc before...

No, he lost that wraith game. Was it on Gods Garden. Reason he lost was not so much his lack of skill compared to other progamers. It's just the inherent weakness of wraith builds.
Baby has mad talent. He could be the new Flash. Yes, I am surprised Pure and Roro do better despite both of them being rock solid too. And no, it's not about results. The players with the best results are usually not very good (anymore). Like Nada and July. Baby is super young. How can you expect him to have shown results?
Really nice thread, i've always wondered about in-house rankings and %s. This B guy Herojoin just dominates. Is there any more? And what kind of sample it is, how many games did they play?

His micro is already amazing from playing WC3 at such a high level and he's obviously a great RTS player in general, doesn't really surprise me. I'm guessing he's just a practice partner or is being a B-teamer a step above that?

Moon is no ordinary WC3 pro
yeah, if moon had played sc from the beginning i have no doubt that he would be at least a proleague regular
Uhm, Moon played SC from the beginning but switched to wc3?

Micro doesn't mean shit in SC tho. You can have as good micro as a progamer and still be D/D+. Moon doesn't have any special talent that makes him good at any RTS game. He's good because he played SC seriously for a long time (like all good players).

Moon isn't just the best WC3 player is of all time aka the fifth race, he also has incredible macro. Just watch some of his epic expansion heavy games on Twisted Meadows. (I'm searching for a VOD)

True. I remember watching moon vs some decent korean human on LT (aka human's wet dream). Moon expanded all over the place. Had to rebuild his base because his main was rolled by steam tanks and still managed to pull of a win by simply having a far superior macro.
But you really cannot compare wc3 macro with sc macro at all. I mean you earn far less resources, units are are much more expensive in comparison to sc, you need far less buildings and you have far less production facilities...
So Moon obviosly has practiced sc quite hard or simply has an incredible talent in RTS games (probably both).
One thing I guess has to be mentioned: It's not always the most winning player in house being sent out as ace. Especially if its like 2-3% difference, maybe one player just had the better month? Also Frozean for example always had a really great in house ranking for KHAN (like top3-4) but just tends to choke in important matches, thus they didn't even sent him when he was #1 in house. Some players just manage to cope with pressure better than others. Same example (lol Samsung again) can be done with JangBi, who always was "Stork level" in practice but really failed to deliver in official matches until his breakout in 2008.
Take those kinda rankings with a grain of salt atleast, it gives you and the coaches a slight impression of who has been doing good, but in the end you wanna send out your most reliable player (if under pressure) for the ace matches.
The ranking is pretty interesting. I wish more team released them. But I highly doubt it as it cintains pretty useful information ofr the opponent teams.
