Yes, it's Korean Air (대한항공) and the next OSL will be called "Korean Air Ongamenet StarLeague 2010" (대한항공 스타리그 2010). Prelims will start on the 4th of February, and the finals is expected to be held somewhere in the middle of May.

Wow, that's quite a sponsor for an OSL. Hopefully SC experiences a growth in popularity again.

Where did the whole "starcraft is dying" thing come from again?
The quality of sponsors has been going down for some time and the MSL almost went unsponsored this season. Equally viewing figures have decreased. You could have made a legitimate argument for Starcraft progaming disappearing. Although this news undermines that argument a lot. Great news :D

just out of curiosity, where do you get the data showing a decrease in viewing figures?

Srsly you'd think that with such a close shave this season they would at least put effort into making Nate a final to remember -_-

It'd still have been a really weak argument (if one has even a vague understanding of business trends and the accuracy of short term data)
Omgggggg, yesss!!! I love Korean Air!!! On the way home trip from Korea to NY, THEY HAD STARCRAFT SHOWS ON THE AIRPLANE!!!! Personalized small mini TV screen for each seat, even in the lowest class. The food is awesome, the lounges for prestige and first class are SOOOOOOO good and cool (I've been there once). You can even have RAMEN on the plane ANYTIME when you're in at least Prestige (middle) class flight!!! Soooooooooooo cool!
Even before the Korean delegates created the Korean flag on a boat (well, according to legend anyway), the taeguk (ying yang) has been used all over the Chosun dynasty. There are tons of historical buildings, objects, etc. that predate the Korean flag that have the taeguk on them.

Have people really never looked at the Korean flag before?
it reminds me of the pepsi logo
Approx. 500+ old red and blue taeguk vs approx. 100 year old American company logo.
Hmm.
yeah, but I(and others) say it look reminds of us the pepsi logo because they are more familiar with the pepsi logo and see it more everyday than the korean flag.
after all, at work sometimes i end up moving like 40 flats of pepsi. whats gonna be stuck more in my mind?
anyhow, even if that wasn't the case, it can still remind someone of something else, can it not? saying (insert song name) reminds you of (insert other song name) is the same thing if you reverse it. one thing to say this; it would be a different thing to say the korean flag was copied from the pepsi logo.

True, and I'm not saying you did anything wrong, but wouldn't you rather be right?
It's much better to say "The Chronicles of Narnia remind me of the Bible!", instead of "The Bible reminds me of the Chronicles of Narnia!"
yeah true, although i didnt know when they both both created. i just figured i'd pick some order, and since what sky_slasher was already posted it was easy to just quote it =]
