JulyZerg looks to put iloveoov in his place after losing to him 3-0 in the Shinhan Bank Starleague over four years ago.
These two haven't played in over 2.5 years. Not only is this rivalry one of the fiercest rivalries of old time, but it is definitely the most exciting Revenge Match yet.
[2004] Riding a monstrous 27-win streak, iloveoov was set to face JulyZerg in the Gillette OSL. Probably scared shitless with already 4 losses to iloveoov, July took the series 3-2.
After that, the two met twice in the iTV Ranking 7th League, with July once again leading 5-1 out of the six sets.
[2004-2006] It looked like iloveoov had met his maker, but from then on the Cheater Terran knocked out the God of War in all 4 of their next Bo3/Bo5 individual league meetings.
Now on a 2-loss streak to July, iloveoov prepares to take July for what is probably the last time these two titans will battle it out.
Watch it on OGN's Revenge Van! 01-19-10 @ 21:00 KST!
I hope that oov busts out some outrageous new strategy. July's more active now, so he will probably win, but you really never know what brilliant stuff we might see from oov.
Obviously seeing oov and july play will be awesome, but I thought the revenge show was about players who did petty little ceremonies against each other getting to exact their revenge?

Nope, its also a way to geta rematch of players who played awesome series against each other eg. first ever revenge match was Boxer v Pusan for that insane osl semis where Boxer came back from 0-2 to 3-2
I really want oov to take this, but he is probably out of practice compared to july. But if oov's game against Reach was any indicator, you can never count him out.

Check TLPD, dude! It was 26–0 since 2003.10.25 up to 2004.07.01. __________________________________

Yes, it was only… only… only… 25–0!
Check YGosu.Com. The YGosu DB is complete. It was 25 winnning streak vs. Z from 2003.11.08 to 2004.07.01.
No it isnt, it has been mentioned in several interviews that its 18-0/27-3.
These Fomos interviews appeal to some selected statistics (so called "regular season games", i.e. Starleague-MSL-Proleague only), not to complete statistics.
The complete statistics has 25–0. You can check it.

So how do the complete statistics somehow not have losses while selected ones do
It's the same reason we credited Flash with a 22-game TvT streak. That streak was in selected(MSL/OSL/Proleague) games only, he actually had losses to Leta, Sea, and Iris in "unofficial"(GOM, STX Masters, Pre-Season Map Test) games during the streak
(edit) i figured it out, only MSL and OSL were counted for oov's 18-0 and 27-3. If you count all of his games he had a 26-0 streak from oct 25, 2003 to jul 1, 2004
I wonder if Oov is going to wear some old badass jersey or some SKT one. Or maybe a suit! He look good in suits. But I hope he wears something old school.

As if I remember correctly, in Fomos interviews was 18–0 only, without any mention on losses.

Maybe the selected statistics did not include 7 wins that he had gotten in special events before he got a loss.

Really? I haven't seen July play in forever besides in qualifiers =\ Oov has played quite a few televised games and is a player-coach still so I'd assume he has more recent experience.

Chillin at the STX house and eatin everything while he cheers for his teammates. The guy's experienced everything during his glory days. It's time he relaxed a bit.

I don't know her name but I was randomly watching OGN for a bit after a match and there was this hilarious clip/show with a guy who sucked at SC and had big glasses, it was hilarious. Anyways, she was combing his hair or something and then it showed her doing yoga in her room (?) but I'm pretty sure it was her. So I think she works in the industry not just some random.

Rofl @ Oov. [06:15] <MrHoon> "iloveoov... At first I was worried he might have a cold attitude like me. But as I got to know him, he was really cool. He was like an older brother to me." [06:15] <MrHoon> iloveoov: I call July "Oink Oink" Zerg
[06:33] <MrHoon> "This is the same build I used 3 years ago!" [06:33] <MrHoon> "I think iloveoov got too cocky" [06:33] <MrHoon> Iloveoov: "LOL I COULDN't DO SHIT THAT GAME"

Haha, he said that he was very disappointed that he couldn't go out. Since he went through the trouble to get his hair done like that, and said something about doing it again I think.
Holy crap that revenge truck show is hilarious. Oov got pwned like a little girl and then had to piggyback run around with July in some warehouse or wtf was that.
Luxury wouldn't probably even fit into the booth with that hair and surely can't sit in a car (only with the skywindow opened maybe). That's what i call useless haircut
July IS the overmind! All kneel down before the Great Leader of the Swarm! He who ended the Zerg drought of individual league titles that went as far as the days of the FIRST OSL.
