I'm a bad player (which is the reason I'm participating in this league you know ) and my opponent was even worse (no offense meant Kurai). Not the best recipe for a thrilling viewing experience. So the general gameplay (micro etc) was bound to be pretty bad. Now, if you're complaining about my non-offensive late game, all I can say is I felt it was the best way for me to win the game. I had taken out his third base and started setting up a contain, therefore limiting him to playing on 2 gas. At that point I just felt that it was up to him to either try to break out or gg. Day9 has said that a good thing to do is to let games play out when you have an advantage, not just rush in for the kill (''don't be afraid of the late game'' ), so I just used my map control to keep on expanding, reinforcing my contain and riding out my advantage. TBH Kurai should've just gg'ed a lot earlier. lol you were maxed for like 10 minutes containing Kurai on 2 base vs 4. You never even tried to attack during those 10 minutes... I think you misinterpreted Day's commentary a little bit. But I wasn't just talking about you dragging it out. Kurai suicided his 3h muta in like 5 seconds haha and you lost all rines to a few lurkers when he switched. Well, it was not meant to be offensive, just saying that the contrast between watching the other games (which were actually very entertaining) were huge. Well, I find it a tad offensive that you felt the need to point out that it was a nightmare to watch. I obviously know that I'm a bad player, otherwise I wouldn't play in CPL looking to improve. I was playing on a stream with people watching which is something that makes me quite nervous ( ), a feeling that wasn't cured by me letting Zerglings inside my base early on. XD After that we both made some retarded midgame moves (he suicided his Mutas, I suicided a ton of shit to Lurks), but then I won the game at around the 16 minute mark where I first took out his 3rd base and also held off his big attack and killing everything. Basically it was over there and frankly Kurai should've gg'd. You could argue that I should've gone in for the kill here, but as you said yourself; I lost all rines to a few lurkers earlier. Why then would I risk doing the same thing again when I could win the game easily just by preventing him from getting more expos? I have lost many games in my life due to 1) making bad and poorly microed attacks when I have no reason to, resulting in me losing my advantage, 2) letting my opponent get away with expos that I didn't scout (''Hey, where did those 20 Ultras come from?'' ) and 3) thinking I have a solid contain just to see 5 dropships getting inside my main all of a sudden. Therefore I spent the following minutes making sure he had no expo's I didn't know about, securing my own economy and making sure my contain didn't leak anywhere. I had nothing to gain from making an attack (except for putting those who were watching out of their misery XD).

Alright, you should have PM'ed me though. Neither of the coached PM'ed about it either so how was I supposed to know, Psy pmed me multiple times asking me if I found one so I was happy when he showed up
You could have been more specific in the last post, no?
I don't know how you thought it would be more convenient to join the team without me knowing at all, but whatever, I'll put you there. Apologies to Ryusei-R1.

Aww damnit, PM'd the coaches? That's crap.

Ah, yeah, I thought the coaches had pm'd you already. I didn't look too closely at the timings for you asking for a new Team Twelve Zerg. You and Ryusei have my apologies. I'll be sure to read timestamps more carefully next time.

Aww, my strategy of PMing the coaches for a slot on Team 11 has failed me D: (I had sent the PM before Card5harko6 posted here, but I don't want to oust him just so I can play)
If there are any openings left (doesn't look like it to me, but you never know!), I'd love to get in on this.

I also think they might as well be released, I don't think it will cause any problems and even help with the practice. Also, some of the games are on demand on stream channels anyway.
Also, lineups please
Week 1 matchups
Group 1 T1 MagicN's vs Jessica SNSD Midnight vs Pokecraft Walk It Out vs Team Rocket The Chief Badasses vs Cloud.9
Group 2 Boyz II Men vs Ninja Explosion EAT MORE CAKE vs Victorious Secret Chickens & Waffles vs Made in Korea ZerO to by.hero vs The Prodigies

While he is a dick, it's only starcraft, and I think it's a good motivation to improve. Just to shut him up.

You should get props from others, not yourself. Praising yourself doesn't mean shit.

I agree with roffles.... tough love man! Shoot every time I used to win a game I would be uber excited to show my friend brad who has always been better than me (C, C+ ish). The only thing he would say when we were watching the rep would be like.... "Wow Jon this guyz total noob go play more and stop wasting my time."
=D
