he lost 2 when he played violet and gained 2 when he showed up in ace. you don't lose points for losing in ace

i guess i just think that loosing an ace match should still be -1. otherwise (well,, This example comes more from last year. but) this might be unfair towards players like Leta who would frequently appear in ace matches, even though he lost a good percentage of them. and now roro maybe.

thoughts?

Leta had the highest win - loss ratio of any player in ace matches last year, iirc.

Leta was 13-3 in ace matches last season. I don't have a source off the top of my head but I remember reading it somewhere on TL.

What I dont like about the current scoring system.

I have player A on my anti team. On the same day player A goes 0-2, losing his regular game and the ace match as well. According to the current system this will have no impact to his score, he will gain or lose 0 points, because he will -2 points for his regular loss, but +2 just because he played ace.

A player, going 0-2 on the same day, is clearly underperfoming, but this still has no reflection on the macro picture.

Its a big gamble to have a high price player on the anti. I picked Sea, and having in mind yesterdays match, my choice seems to be correct (I have a player, who lost twice in a single day, on my anti) but yet this doesnt get "rewarded".

My suggestion is just to have -2 for the ace match losses as well

But I also had Frozean on my main, so I'm tempted to hate free more T_T
