I hope Best makes it - it was over a year ago when he was on the cusp of victory in an individual league. Bisu's got an easy group, hopefully he'll be ready and won't get caught off guard by players preparing specifically against him. Canata fighting! After ages, will it be his time? 2 ZvZ's for Hyuk, he's got a good chance to make it out as #2 from his group?
2 other zergs on Jaedong's group - is JvZ still alive? No TvP for Flash yet, expect pure dominance. Hwasin and Kal only have to prepare one matchup, lucky.

Bisu and Flash should be able to easily make it out of their groups.
But I am most excited about Stats' and Kal's groups. Maybe one of them will be able to proof that Z>P is not true. Or they will simply be stomped...

I'd say Guemchi is in similar position too, as Bisu's PvP is almost untouchable, while the closest Savior has to his old self is his ZvP. Also, Bogus is an overall better player/talent than Crazy-Hydra is.

3 groups with 3 zergs, so atleast some of them are guaranteed to drop out.
No way in hell can Hwasin fail now! Flash also looks like a sure pick.
too bad JD got 2 zergs with him, now i can't say he'll make it for sure.. or well July's ZvZ is bad so JD should definitely make it!
Hyuk got into a group without terrans, i don't wanna see him advancing ;<

Stats on the other hand is simply royally fucked. No chance against July/JD at PvZ. No shot at all.

Group A - Calm, BeSt, Light, fOrGG
BeSt can do it losing to Calm and winning both of Terrans. Posibility: 70%
Group D - Jaedong, Crazy-Hydra, Stats, July
Poor Stats, he has a group of 3 Zergs while 2 of them are ZvP monsters lol. He has no chances. Sorry, Stats
Group E - Canata, hero, Movie, Stork
Damn! There is two of my favourites in one group. While hero is ZvP specializer i want that Stork and Movie go through much! Canata can win hero, then one of Protosses win hero and then win Canata !!
Chances of this posibility is 50%. At least we have 1 Protoss go past this group!
Group F - Bisu, GuemChi, Bogus, sAviOr
GuemChi is weak link here while Bisu is an obvius leader.
Group G - ZerO, Hyuk, type-b, Kal (???)
Kal is second Protoss with 3 Zergs in group with him. I put 50% that he can break through this group.
Group H - EffOrt, RuBy, FireFist, JangBi
JangBi is like the worst player in this Ro32 MSL. I think he will lose...

ahahha kal actually has a chance to advance. Zero would probably rape him, but zero has to beat the ever so strange ZvZ of Hyuk. If kal can take out type-B (who has deez zvp LOL), then he can probly 2-0.
but if kal runs into zero im pretty sure he will lose.
Also i really wanna see Best lose lol. Im pretty sure clam will beat him, but the two remaining terrans haven't really been able to keep up with best in the past (unless its arena Forgg). Will be a cool group for sure.
Stats is completely fucked. I have no idea who will advance besides JD though, cause July's zvz isnt that good and i have no idea about crazy hydra.
Group E should be cool. Lets see if canata can work his magic of last season and beat hero. I see stork advancing 2-0 from this group, but the 3rd spot is totally up for grabs (HOPE FOR MOVIE!)
And yeah Im really gonna have to go with Bisu/savior advancing, with bisu going 2-0.
oh yeah and I don't care about flash's group cept flash advacing. I guess iris advancing would be nice too.

Hyuk has proven he fails at ZvP recently, type-b is good, but any reasonable person will put Kal slightly ahead of type-b as a fav to win in game and Kal is capable of beating Zero although he isnt the favourite. So yeah, I think he is the favourite to advance with Zero.
statistically, Stats should get raped by the zergs. We've got July and JD, and crazy-hydra shows some mean Z v P as well. But Stats wasnt suppose to make it out of the survivor group with fantasy and type-b. So you never know.
I am more worried about Jangbi's chances. Although statistically he is a favourite vs. Ruby and FireFist, it isnt by much. And if Bisu and Stork dont advance... the world will explode.

The best ZvZ player in history playing julyzerg, who is bad at ZvZ, and crazyhydra who has 1 televised win over a zerg, and a mediocore protoss, after Jaedong beat the two best protosses in the world at WCG? You guys are insane. Also Stats is so totally screwed.

It seems like most of the favorites should advance, but I'm a little worried for Best and Stork.
Best's group is tougher than it looks. If he can't beat calm he has a good chance of making it to the final match, but he'll likely have to play light or Calm again to advance. If Best has to play Calm twice, I don't think he'll make it.
Stork's group is, well, pretty easy, but how can you NOT worry as a Stork fan! 
Bisu, JD, and Flash should have no problems and I can't remember Hwasin ever being in a group that wasn't all Zergs, lol!
