Well basicly it is right that after like 20 or so your reaction time and speed in general starts to get worse. That's why White-Ra being somewhat around thirty only has around 200 APM usually. ZvZ for example is a matchup where any tactics or strategies are rarely seen, so the entire game is reduced to actually speed, reaction and overall unit control. So being younger and faster gives you a big advantage. Anyway: Go ret!

It is evident that a human being could be in peak BW condition well past age 20. Since Koreans start young and their training method is highly susceptible to burning out, there is a trend of BW players doing worse in their early to mid 20's.

I'm amazed that Idra hasn't complained at all (unless I missed something) about loneliness during his stay in Korea. He sure has strong willpower. IdrA mentioned the loneliness / isolation once in an interview on fnatic that was around about two months ago - he more-or-less said that he felt it but that he also enjoyed the reality of him being different or unique in these ways (Correct me if I'm wrong IdrA)

Hopefully this it will fix itself for you, but it might be hard cause of the language barrier.

When I look at ret FPVOD's it so reminds me of sAviOr in terms of how efficient they are with what appears to be an average APM and how they always have a good unit combo. But sAviOr is able to carry this out during the entire duration of the game and get more out of his units whereas it appears tha ret's late game is not that advanced. Keep practising ret and you'll get there ! Great video though. GIMME MORE !

The documentary concluded that peoples brains lose the ability to learn and do tasks basically without even thinking about doing them. Sorta like how an older person finds it more difficult to pick up a language than a toddler. Something in their brain just doesn't function as it used to.

When you cite your source as being "I saw it on youtube", you lose credibility. Yeah honestly documentaries are basically entertainment, it all depends on what the maker of it wants to convey. It may have SOME actual data, but it'll be skewed, picked and chosen or just made up. Find actual reports not videos. Regardless. Good luck ret mane we're all rooting for you. Prove these suckas wrong ![]()

As far as the other point, of older people not picking up language etc as quickly as younger people. Firstly language is an incredibly special case, but i assume what the video was talking about was neuroplasticity. While it's true that the brain becomes less plastic with age, to suggest that this would have any noticeable affect on a gamer from when they're 19 to when they're 29 is shaky shaky ground. It's social factors, not physical/mental that keep the progamer pool so young

jeez, instead of youtube bashing atleast try to search up stuff in scirus/intute/or medical databases like pubmed. Here is the abstract for the lazy: "This study analyzed auditory reaction time (RT) data from 1,265 community-dwelling volunteers (833 males and 432 females) who ranged in age from 17 to 96. Cross-sectional analyses revealed slowing of simple (SRT) and relatively greater slowing of disjunctive (DRT; aka "go-no-go") reaction time across decades for both males and females. Repeated testing within participants (longitudinal analyses) over eight years showed consistent slowing and increased variability with age. Males were faster than females cross age groups, RT tasks, and visits. Beginning at about age 20, RTs increased at a rate of approximately 0.5 msec/yr for SRT and 1.6 msec/yr for DRT. Errors also increased, making unlikely a tradeoff of accuracy for faster responses. The findings are consistent with the hypotheses that slowing of behavior is: (a) a continuous process over the adult life span; (b) characterized by age-associated increases in within-participant variability; (c) a direct function of task complexity and, presumably, the degree of mediation by higher regions in the central nervous system; and (d) greater in women than men." Most significant part is that in the 20s reaction time increases but accuracy decreases, however there is a general trend of slowing down RT over time. Also Ret Fighting!! Keep posting these vids artosis like you did for Nony, I really want to see courage too, the game camera quality is much higher here too ^__^, GJ scforall
