WCG Korean Qualifiers Ro16 Day 3 Winner YellOw[ArnC]: "I hope Luxury hyung lets me win (laughs)"
- You played the match two days after the OSL Finals; wasn't it difficult practicing ▲ It wasn't difficult. I forgot about my losses at the finals. I started practicing for WCG only yesterday, but I practiced harder since I lost in the finals. I concentrated harder than ever before.
- How was today's match ▲ I thought I would win easily because I had some luck, but I let my guard down and almost lost. The counter-attack damaged me a lot and the game became more difficult.
- You must have a lot of expectations in this WCG ▲ Even before this WCG I always dreamed of becoming the representative for Korea. I think I can achieve that dream this time.
- You must really want to be one of the Korean players in WCG ▲ I think it's cool. I think everyone dreams of representing his/her country once. I want to try playing outside of Korea.
- Were you worried because it was ZvP ▲ As long as it's not Stork, I'm not worried. For some reason, I can't play as well as I usually do when I play against Stork. I'm confident in my ZvP as long as it's not Stork.
- Why are you weak against Stork ▲ I start thinking too much. Whenever I play against him, none of my strategies work, and all of his do.
- You must have a lot of hopes in the main WCG tournament ▲ I don't know. I have never been outside of Korea, but I think it'll be exciting because there will be people from many different nations. (laughs)
- Your next opponent is your twin brother Luxury ▲ He said in his interview that I should win the OSL and let him win in the WCG, but since I didn't win in the OSL, I hope he lets me win. (laughs)
- A word to your fans ▲ Even though I got silver in the OSL, I will try my best. I will win the WCG and wear the gold medal.
WCG Korean Qualifiers Ro16 Day 3 Winner fantasy "I am confident in my TvP"
- How do you feel about making it to the Ro8 ▲ I was worried about the match since I didn't have a TvP match for a while, but I'm happy I did better than I thought. Since it's not decided that I will be a Korean representative yet, so I will be twice as happy when I earn that spot.
- You tried dropship harassment every game ▲ I'm the type that always harasses but I couldn't harass in the 2nd set. I learned today I should try to change my style.
- You won 3rd set with a hidden expo ▲ My opponent was good with the shuttle so I didn't have that many workers. I think I won because I was able to replenish my workers quickly from 7 o'clock expo.
- If there's any secret to making a hidden expo work ▲ I never plan on doing a hidden expo. I do it when I feel like it's going to work. It's important that you aim for the timing that your opponent wouldn't expect.
- Your next opponent is Stork. ▲ I practiced TvP a lot lately so I feel confident*. I will definitely get to the semifinals and have a rematch with Jaedong
- After Stork, you'll face Jaedong ▲ After proleague finals, I underestimated Jaedong. I didn't practice the OSL semifinals that much, so I lost. I feel bad about the loss, and I feel like I can play well if I meet him again this time.
- A word to your fans ▲ I thank my fans for supporting me and I'll start to do better, starting with this WCG.
*Fantasy's original words were "I practiced TvP a lot lately so the 'water's risen' (I think this is the literal definition but I know that it mean's that he's showing confidence in the matchup)"
TN: I know that WCG and Masters interviews are less 'popular' and a lot shorter than the more prestigious leagues, but I will continue to translate them for those who are interested if nobody else wants to do them.
- After Stork, you'll face Jaedong ▲ After proleague finals, I underestimated Jaedong. I didn't practice the OSL semifinals that much, so I lost. I feel bad about the loss, and I feel like I can play well if I meet him again this time.
So that's why you lost you cocky bastard. LOL Never underestimate the Dong. Only Bisu can afford to be cocky and still look good. Thnx for the translations!
Thanks for posting this. I can't believe he underestimated Jaedong. I wonder did he think Jae was really slumping or simply that he had Jaedong's number in TvZ?

I bet he has nightmares of that dreaded 4pool. Only JD can get revenge fantasy
- After Stork, you'll face Jaedong ▲ After proleague finals, I underestimated Jaedong. I didn't practice the OSL semifinals that much, so I lost. I feel bad about the loss, and I feel like I can play well if I meet him again this time.
I think it's more likely he's lying and trying to destroy Jaedong's confidence
Rofl so much confidence that Jaedong will advance out of his bracket. He's definitely a clear favorite but the interview with Fantasy makes it seem like Jaedong already advanced haha.

Who cares, it's his stupidity and how the fuck would any of boxer or oov let him practice LESS when they all know what JD is capable of.
I admit Fantasy is good and has sweet plays, but I seriously dislike him.
- Your next opponent is your twin brother (Z)Luxury ▲ He said in his interview that I should win the OSL and let him win in the WCG, but since I didn't win in the OSL, I hope he lets me win. (laughs)
I dunno, I'm not really interested in these games because they don't seem that important, although I do want to see what y[arnc] says after he smashes luxury. It's weird how he calls luxury hyung even though he's only a few minutes or so older.
I've been liking seeing Flash and Fantasy play more and more lately, it's like their playstyles are polar opposites of eachother, and it's fun to see how that produces different games.
Fantasy always tries to end games quickly, with bunker rushes, mass early vultures, he does whatever he can to make sure games don't go into the late-game, where he is somewhat weak.
Flash on the other hand seems to HATE the early-game and always tries to drag every game against every player into the late game. He's really vulnerable in the early and early-middle game, but he's almost invincible once you get to late-game.
If you combined their strengths (Fantasy early-early/mid, Flash mid-late) without their weaknesses, you'd have a player who would kick Jaedong's ass in 99% of his games, it'd be amazing.
Lol, that sounds like an excuse coming from fantasy, I highly doubt he didn't practice much for the semi-finals. Sorry but, you won't make it pass Stork to face JD! ;P.
- You must have a lot of hopes in the main WCG tournament ▲ I don't know. I have never been outside of Korea, but I think it'll be exciting because there will be people from many different nations. (laughs)
He followed it with "Who are WAAAAY weaker than us, you know?! NOOBSTOMP!"
Thanks for the translations! I always love reading these.
Fantasy is a great player, taking down JD, dominating the dragons but for some reasons, I just don't like him. I hope he gets roflstomp by Stork on the next round.
I always thought fantasy was a little pretentious with a feeling of entitlement before he won anything but this interview proves to me he's a dick. Seriously, you say you didn't practice against JD much when in your pre game interviews you said you lusted for revenge from the previous OSL finals loss and it was the only match you had to practice for since the PL finals ended? Right
I'm looking forward to Stork taking a dump on this guy.
