I am confused... how did like 100 players just get randomly eliminated? o.O

I guess they were the non-televised games?

edit: also what is up with RO64R1 and RO64R2?

In the round of 256, there were only actually 180 players, give or take a few I think, that were there, but you cannot have a round of 180, so lots of players got by's. I don't really know what you mean by your edit since last sunday was the RO64 R1 day, and next sunday is the RO64 R2 day.

Edit: 180 players because a few teams did not participate in it (eStro, OGN, MBC) so there weren't 256 pro's to pick from.

also I didn't mean the total # of players; like two days ago, I only saw ~20 players eliminated, and now there's this bigass column of pwned guys

R = round.

There are 2 rounds of 64 because of the structure of the tournament. The 32 seeds don't join the tourney 'til the second round of 64 (when there are 32 non-seeds remaining).

And, yes, I don't know the results of the non-broadcast games yet, but by looking at the Ro64.R2 bracket, I can figure out who got eliminated during the first three rounds. I've sent lilsusie and tasteless PMs requesting more detailed info on the non-broadcast games but I've yet to receive any response. Plz be patient while I try to fill in the holes. Thanks.

There is one mistake there that caught my attention tough.
That Shine guy Jangbi is playing is actually a Zerg named Shine[kal] who is in his group in the brackets and apparently was not eliminated yet.
That Terran you renamed to OGNs Shine was named right before, he is sea.Shine from KTF and he is eliminated.
OGN Shine can't be playing this right?

EDIT: Are you sure they won't broadcast any other games?
Or you just extracted them from the brackets and is waiting for the games schedule?

As far as I'm aware, they're broadcasting every sunday, and only on sunday. They may decide to change things and broadcast more games in the future, but so far they've only announced broadcast of the games I've marked as scheduled for broadcast. Here's the page where they're doing the announcing. I'll update this thread as their announcements change.

Probably not, becuase there's a decent number of tl.net members that can probably go to the games. last season they had someone else step in for tasteless to english cast- i'm guessing that's what they're going to do again this season.
