Because the maps suck.
More specifically, Neo Requiem makes a good proleague map(because it leads to interesting games), but a bad individual league map, because it's so anti-one-race(terran in this case). God knows why they decided to have both NR and Medusa in the Ro16.
That said, I still think Flash is going to win against Rock, but I'm kinda nervous.

I'd say Flash winning is about 95% sure. Rock's only real trick is his carriers and Flash just happens to be the only player who is absolutely immune to carriers.

As much as I am a rabid Flashru fanboy, the maps are just brutal
Sure Flash was the only terran who took a shit on protoss faces by being the only terran to have 6 wins on Katrina, but this is different...

Maps suck so badly for terran, forGG plz just hold out for a better league. Kal you can do it, this is your league, except not since you suck against protoss. Uhh..ok Mind! Well the maps suck so bad for you too.
All my favorite players are so screwed, I have to resort to my backup favorites...uh Bisu fighting?

Yeah, Much played poorly, but when I was watching it you coulda mistook the zerg play as Jaedong in season 1. This new guy is going to do more damage than people think -- I'd put money on it.

As long as Neo Requiem and Medusa are being used there is no hope for Terran. I just hope that  Flash will manage to take down  Rock despite that and that for Ro8 more balanced maps will be chosen. I guess Flash is kind of lucky that he doesn't have to play Best/JangBi/Bisu in Ro16...

Rock? Carriers? He has the worst carrier micro ever. No, I'll rephrase. He doesn't micro his carriers at all. One of the things people criticize him about most is that he loses carriers too easily because he doesn't care about them. Rock's only real trick is bumping his head into the enemy's wall-in hoping it will crack open.

is pepe good at TvP? I mean his record in tlpd is complete garbage, but from what I hear about him I understand his TvZ, and TvT are good and that he has excellent micro and such, but these characterstics remind of type of terran like casy and boxer, and others who arent so great at TvP for one reason or another. Well looks hope pepe puts on a good show or atleast not get utterly slaughtered like Jangbi vs Nada all star game.

Go EffOrt. Best's PvZ is his worst matchup and EffOrt is on fire lately, I can definitely see him taking it.
