http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/add-take-ownership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/ I had almost the exact problem, except it was pretty much everything in my Program Files folder rather than just .exes If that doesn't work...then yeah, probably virus. Either scan for it or reformat. Edit: I actually forgot the original place I got the registry files, but a google search brought this up and it looks just like it. | ||

at least this is the way i deal with such vista problems. i cant explain more atm, but i am going to edit this post asap u can google it too keywords like: "modify" "vista" "permission" "system files" edit: oh nvm that worked | ||
