Where I'm at, whenever I watch live events, like OSL finals or WL or whatever, I'm usually the only one up, unless I am over at Duke and we were lanning for some reason. So I thought, well, since I have a vent, how about we experiment with having vent on during the match, to make it less of a solo affair (who knows, maybe someone as entertaining as klaz would be on).
But anyways, that was a side thought. The main one was concerning Star Brain. It seems that it would be an effective way to improve if you had a better player obsing from your point of view and telling you what to do, and not in typing, since typing comes in chunks, and may be late for on the spot things going on. I know some clans have their own vent, but for any of those who don't, and don't feel like going into random public vents, here's one:

It's my WoW guild's vent, and since I am GM, you can do whatever ;P
But please do try to keep the SC channels (there are 10 atm, can add more if it becomes needed) limited to around 20 total during the hours of 9:30 US EST to 1:30 US EST, since that is when we raid. Otherwise, we should only be doing 10 mans or whatever, so just act accordingly to how many people you see in the non SC channels (and don't just sit around afk in channel plz unless you will be back soon).
Oh, and a quick thing about the SC events, there is an "SC Progaming Events" channel, just jump in there for those, such as WL tonight. I'm wondering if this won't be more fun than watching SC solo; just imagine the reaction say.......when.....

I mean share vision only with the person receiving the advice, so you only see what they can see. Idk how much that affects advice in general, just feels different when i obs that way, less feeling of an accidental contamination of advice by something I accidentally saw of his opponent.

Ok, yeah that might be good. Sometimes its hard playing when someone is giving you tips and telling you what to do over your shoulder but sometimes its really good too.

Personally i love it, I mean I am like constantly cursing at self at same time because its like "OMG so many things to do", but in the end its really helpful I think, because it helps get me into the cycle of what I should be looking for now, and the more I repeat the thought processes correctly, the better it gets.
fastest way of improvement through repetition i think.

but yea, it's pretty much open for anything, say if you needed a vent for 2v2s
