I'm reposting this here (originally posted in the fpl3 daily rankings thread) and I'm currently adding some more interesting stats that I think of.

I'm surprised Boxer made it this high on the list; it looks like a lot of people were counting on him as a 1 pt player and paired that with a common high pt combo mixing up their middle 3 players. While the player pairs show a lot of similarity in teams it is obvious from the triplets that there is still a lot of variation in teams (mostly from mid point players).Out of the 943 teams there are 8 individuals pairs of players that have duplicate teams (note this isn't taking into account captains):

Almost even on the race balance, an evenly balanced team with 2 from each race is the most popular most likely due to the trading opportunities and race requirement rule interaction. Unsurprisingly 4 of one race are the least picked options totaling only 142 of the teams; these people probably won't be able to take advantage of most of the trade opportunities arising this round.

874 people chose to use all their points (most likely the best idea) while most of the rest chose in the high 20s for point values the rest where spread around randomly with 2 teams costing nothing (although ironically not copying each other one with ACE and one with KTF in a pool of 6 players and 2 teams with 0 pts). Currently sitting tied for 14th place after one day is Rectifier with a team costing only 28 points + Show Spoiler +, he is the highest ranked among teams who spent less than 29 points.

SKT & ACE show up a lot in the short list of players with only 2 or 1 team(s) represented; ACE is of course easy to grab with a lot of 0 point players (in fact you can make an all ACE team for 0 points). An all SKT team may generate a lot of points from the frequent wins they're expected to get but you probably can't get many points since SKT's wins will most likely come from just a few players.
The general consesus seems to be that more teams represented is better (although only 50 people represent the maximum allowed teams of 7); this is probably mostly due to the all-kill format encouraging picking players on teams that will see a lot of play time and a good amount of wins.

KTF the least expensive team (tied with ACE) has seen the most points spent to aquire their players above SKT with a majority of those KTF points most likely coming from Flash & Luxury while SKT points mostly coming from Best & Bisu. I would have expected people to spend more points aquiring players from SKT due to the expectation that they will dominate in this format.

Players seem to be spending the most points grabbing the Terran & Protoss players with the currently slumping zergs costing less or not drawing as much attention.

Frequency distribution of the sum of each teams players pts squared:
This is designed to show whether teams are buying lots of average players or focusing on several very high cost players. Low values are teams that have a lot of cheap/average players and not many or no high cost players (the couple of 0pt teams are still 0 when squaring pt values so they're the anomalies at the low end); high values represent teams with a lot of high point cost players.

For reference my team is slightly on the high end of what the average fantasy player picked with Bisu, Flash, and Stork being my 3 high cost players. The second spike around 200 is probably caused by all the players that picked KTF having extra points to spend on more expensive players. My guess is the 200 spike is where most of the top scorers will end up having KTF, several high cost dependable players, and some cheap but productive players to round out the teams.

This graph is the same but broken down into teams with KTF(red) and teams that didn't pick KTF(blue). Clearly obvious from this graph is the fact that all KTF owners were able to afford more expensive players and while the shapes are similar KTF owners had a tendency to favor more higher point players as evidenced by the spike at 250 and the large spikes around 210. Higher point players are going to most likely generate the largest point totals with high win streaks and the occasional all-kill; I believe this round is going to favor teams with high point cost reliable players and productive low cost players and this should clearly favor KTF owners. With the high amount of points being generated by players on a daily basis (8+ with win streaks) the difference in points generated by a players team pick just don't make it worth picking any team over KTF this round; maximum points generated by a team going 4-0 in all its matches is 55, this is not going to happen and a more likely total for teams is in the 20-30 point range.

Again, this is just showing that non-KTF owners are relying more on their cheap players as evidenced by the huge prevelence of teams with
sAviOr (41% of teams). Due to all of these factors we shouldn't be seeing many non-KTF owners in the run for first place with those near the top being people who's cheap picks all payed off for them.Differences in prefered players between KTF and non-KTF owners:

These rankings show the clear divide in this rounds fantasy proleague rosters with KTF owners picking more expensive players relying on their huge potential in this all-kill format to carry their team while non-KTF owners are looking for the cheap steals that might just make it big this round. Yet again this should lead to more KTF owners on the top of the scoreboard but it may pay off for that lucky person or two who picked just the right combination of players.

I ranked everyone based on # of picks / pts^2; I squared the points to have a higher preference for cheap players (and even with that Flash is pretty high up on the list)
At the top of this list we find
BoxeR, returning from his less than desirable performance while in the Air Force people are expecting him to get back up to shape quickly with the increased practice time. Next we find by.hero boosted by his recent defeat of + Show Spoiler +Bisu
sAviOr who has been slumping lately but people clearly expect him to turn around and win a lot of games in this new all-kill format. Already proving themselves useful are GuemChi, Luxury, and iloveoov having great first days and possibly even paying for themselves already. Not a big surprise is the concentration on the top players of each team since they'll be the ones seeing the most playing time and getting the large win streaks. Some oddities are
sAviOr being the #1 pick from CJ, picked twice as often as sKyHigh (the #2 pick) players are obviously counting on sAviOr performing well in this format and being worth the 2 points to pick him up. The currently injured BackHo is the #2 pick from Lecaf surprisingly just edging out fOrGG for the spot. The most expensive player Leta is 4th picked on OGN, clearly not a favorite of players due to his high cost although he is performing well so far this round. The KHAN favorite is Stork over his more expensive teammate JangBi. SKT sees BoxeR rank second far above BeSt with players favoring Bisu over the equally priced BeSt. STX Soul has a large variety in its picked players with by.hero leading the pack after his recent defeat of + Show Spoiler +.
