Team VzR is working on our website, very difficult when you can never find a competent coder. Never knew how much work it takes just to get a website up and running. It is hours upon hours of work. If anyone has some experience and wants to give some tips on how we could maybe get this to work faster would be greatly appreciated, The template is up, but only 2 links work so its a work in progress hoping to get it completed by Friday but that goal maybe a bit unrealistic. If you have any stories or experiences with websites that may be funny post them up here would love to hear about it.

I'm in the process of finishing InFlow Gamings website (http://www.inflowgaming.net), so if you need any help setting up your website just give me a shout.

It took awhile to get theirs done, because I didn't use any templates or frameworks. I did that mainly to get some good practice and discover what I have yet to learn and refine.

Lol, I hope you're not talking about a simple static website because there is no way that should take 5 days... Also Bosma hope you don't mind I was just poking around your site, you have some mysql error msgs coming up when I mess around with the GET values in some urls that you should probably hide/handle differently. Generally better security practice is to not show that shizz

Nice work on creating your first forum system, I did same thing semi-recently though I got lazy and never finished lol.

eh.... websites are tough? It's sick technology is what it is and like the fellows before me have mentioned, if you pay the right guy the right amount he's bound to know how to get the most out of what is possible today. regardless of that aspect however, i hope it goes well for you.

it's hardly just html, you need a guy to run the server which can be quite a few languages, it comes esp difficult when you have a webpage with a fourm on it.

yeah see its difficult when we have 1 person working on it, who has a little clue what hes doing and me telling him to do stuff that i guess is difficult and him saying "i have no clue how to fucking do that." so its difficult but we are working and progressing plus you got to write a lot of pages up so many links it is very time consuming.

If you guys are gonna primarily be non-coders, I recommend you find someone who can work with a CMS like Drupal, that way you'll at least be able to edit the site once it's done, from a web interface.

Basically if you're finding it hard now to get the site happening, maintenance is going to be painful, especially if the person making it leaves.
