best way to stop smoking is not to stop smoking. That way you don't enter a withdrawal. Try to smoke less but still smoke.

I had 2 yesterday as I told you guys. Unfortunately I did have one after lunch today aswell. I find that the pain of not having nictine is strongest when I've just had a meal so I've tried to replace the habit of a cigarette by chewing gum.. anyone got a better idea cuz that and meeting people who somke really seem to be my weak points. Anyway, I plan to not have anymore cigarettes today - and hopefully ever. I guess I should be unsatisfied with the fact that I smoked today but really I've gone from 14 ciggs a day to 1 a day in 3 days. Right now it doesnt feel like it's that hard to quit. We'll see when Im (hopefully) on 0 tomorrow though...

We can do this!

you should just make a deal with your friend that he gets to kick you openly in the nuts everytime you have a smoke, im sure you'd quit pretty fast! That or you would become a compulsive liar. Seriously though good motivators really help, my dad quit cold turkey when I was born.

It's 12:16am right now of Day 2. I have not smoked. I have been tempted but I resisted. It's getting really hard. I need some support from fellow quitters. PM me for MSN. COMMON GUYS WE HAVE TO QUIT!!

Ya...this "Quit smoking TEAM" is not really a team. In fact its just another thread of random people saying they want to quit and other people posting how they managed to quit in the past. If we really want to be a team, we have to unite guys. I'm going to try and organize something. Everyone who wants to quit, let me know and I will add your name to a list. Everyday, you are to report your status to me and I will update it in one thread. So let me know guys. LETS DO THIS!

Day 2 has passed. It is morning of Day 3 now. Smoked 1 in day 2 after lunch, 3 hrs before my paper was due... went home at 7pm and slept till now (7am). I had pulled an allnight before.
