Well, this is going to be a really short blog but I have to say, running and going to the gym are really helping me as a person.
Just 3 days ago I started running a mile each day, and I can feel how much easier its getting. It's not too hard either, I don't know why people complain so much about running, sure, you may get tired but it is the greatest feeling in the world when you look back on it, especially if you are very committed.
I just got a gym member ship today too. I came back and since I forgot my keys and my mom was at wal-mart I decided to run a mile. It felt VERY easy today. Well, back to the gym membership. As soon as I signed up my mom left with my little brother to wal-mart and I started working out. I noticed there was 2 gay guys looking at me, and at my age it felt pretty fucking creepy because I honestly don't like gay people(no offense to gay people, just the way I am raised.) I worked out my shoulders/back/triceps and biceps and they were burning when I was done.
My goals :
I want to be able to run 10 miles by summer, back when I was in like 6th grade I ran to the point were my sweat was salty, IIRC it was around 10 miles, so that's my running goal.
Now my weight lifting goal is going to be pretty much just getting buff and I would like it a lot if you team liquid buff baller nerds can give me a few tips in getting my arms/back/chest stronger. I'm not looking to do too much work on my legs.

I can't focus on anything but your disgusting homophobia. I don't think anyone would accept
"I honestly don't like black people (no offense to black people, just the way I am raised)"

#1 Eat well, proteins and green veggies are always good.. #2 Sleep well, dont abuse sc2... #3 Gym: 1 time a week is better then nothing, 2-3 times a week, you gonna feel better but 4-5 times a week is really gonna get you buffed... Youngsters tend to go for chest, biceps and shoulders to look "good".. You should really get a nice balanced workout from the fitness peeps at the gym..
|
Yea i was gunna give you some words of wisdom but saying shit like that is stupid.
|
How bout you google something remotely close to "how do I get buff"? Seems like a good start, but if you ddont want to theres also the search function on TL which has a handy dandy thread called TL fitness initiative, should share in there.
PS. leave out the part about you being a homophobe, people dont go arounds saying yeah i hate blacks because i was raised to. Or I hate people who want to run 10 miles because i was raised that way ^^

how do you know they were gay? i heard gay ppl recognize other gay ppl..is it true?

AHAHAHHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAH

Exercise is fantastic. I'm really bad and never manage to keep up a regular exercise schedule for very long, but every time I start exercising again after a week or two off I feel GREAT for a couple of days. Running is especially nice on warm spring evenings like the ones we're getting at the moment.
|
Well it seems admirable, but I honestly don't like fat people who can't run more than two miles at a time (no offense to you, just the way I was raised).
And yes, if you can assume some people were gay because they were looking at you, I can most certainly assume you're fat.
Running and looking buff are great, but irrational fears should be addressed first. On a more positive note, I hope you do well running and stick with it.

"I honestly don't like black people (no offense to black people, just the way I am raised)" oh please, you're being a little oversensitive here... it's more like a woman getting skeeved out because two guys are checking her out really not a big deal

But that isn't because a woman inherently hates men
he said outright "i dont like gay people"
how is that any better/different from saying "i dont like black/mexican/asian people." If I said in a blog "I dont like asian people" id get shit on hard. and i would deserve it.

Alright, so tl;dr is just you got a gym membership and you wanna get buff. Sweet Some chest workouts are just any type of benchpress exercise really. For back, go on that Seated Row machine at the gym, my favorite back exercise thing. For shoulders, do lat raises and shoulder presses. Isolation tricept workouts include skull crushers, and the tricep pulldown thingy. Bicep isolations are just curls, and you can use that curl machine? Its where you sit down, and your arms are propped up by it. For specifics send me a PM or something.

Hmmm.. I do believe seeing this "gaydar" on an episode of The Office. Unfortunately, the gaydar turns against the guy using it (Dwight).

Well I'm certainly on your side here, but the difference is that homophobia and discrimination based on orientation are still recognized as valid in the U.S. Orientation-based discrimination is still legal in parts of the U.S., and we still have the absurd "Don't Ask Don't Tell Policy" in the Army. Needless to say racial discrimination is illegal.
Thank you religious Republicans -_-
