You show your condom before and pay later. They shouldn't ask to see the money if you're not living in a rat trap.

If you feel like being classy but probably more discrete than anything some escort houses accept credit card and/or online payment before anything happens.

If it's a first-time transaction, you show the money up front.

If it's a repeat visit, you can pay immediately afterwards. It's not a bar, you do not get a tab, or IOU.

This is not from experience >_> ... just common sense.

Edit: If you want to establish a tab system, you must talk with her (or his) pimp or management agency, and probably get high with them and let them know you're cool. Make sure you've done business with them on a steady basis and then they won't fuck up your shit if you need to IOU.

Edit: You really need to distinguish between call girls and hookers. OBVIOUSLY you pay the call girl afterwards. Hookers you should just roll down your window and show them the cash (Benjamin's preferred, depends where you live).
