Doesn't sleeping upsidedown indicate that your upside (head) is down (by the floor)?
Why is everyone calling this upsidedown when it is clearly backwards?

sleeping backwards sounds better
also, sleeping backwards can produce an unexpected positive result because most of the weight is in a person's torso and a mattress will soften up / become less firm on the primary side being slept on. by sleeping backwards, a person will be sleeping on a firmer / less soft side of the mattress which can produce better sleep resulting in the person feeling better when waking up.
this is why you'll hear recommendations to rotate the mattress occasionally

ever since I started watching starcraft live, I've been sleeping backwards so I can lie down and watch on my laptop and inevitably fall asleep during games. My knowledge of starcraft progaming steadily rises as my grades steadily drop o/

The way I envisioned it is that your feet are tied to the ceiling while you are hanging upside down. The blanket will be wrapped around you, and a knot must be tied. Don't ask me how you would get out of bed (or your blanket). Or in bed, for that matter. I don't really know

yeah, i thought it was where you have your feet tied to a rope and hang from the ceiling. blood rushes to head, etc. incorrect usage of words is causing lots of confusion (thanks a lot, original "upsidedown" guy

Listen I don't know about you but I sleep horizontally.
And if my upside is facing down that must mean I'm either eating my pillow or my head is at the foot of the bed.

Like I said before, I sleep in every which direction in my bead because its so huge. I've been doing it for years like vtec, it doesn't do anything, and feng shui is bullshit.
