Ok, don't panic. The jist of this league is that MBCGame had an open slot in their lineup, so they decided to fill it up with another tournament. Cool.
First step was getting a sponsor and a league design. The League was decided to be voter oriented to enhance fanboyism - i.e. fans would nominate their favourite gamers to participate in this league, as well as professional votes from coaches and the like (top 8 would qualify).
The preliminary matches would be divided into two rounds. The first round will determine the ranking of each player, the method is single elimination via a series of BO3 (final is BO5). This will determine the top four players and will last for over 5 weeks (from April 9th to May 7th).
In the second round, the top four players determined by the first round will get to choose their opponents, and again, four winners will be selected from the four pairs by BO3 (final is BO5). The gamers will then be re-ranked based on their performances in both rounds, and the top four players will advance to the playoffs.

Great stuff
Ok, after a couple weeks of gaming, the league came to a close with a Bo5 Final between two greats of Progaming - Nada and JulyZerg. Nada wins 3-0 - woop woop (no one uploaded the vods -_-).

After more weeks of fighting the final emerged to be Yellow and Nal_ra! After 4 sets, Yellow walked away victorious and 'proved his worth in All-Star games'. (again, no vods grr)

Finally, the business end of the league. Nada vs July | Yellow vs Nal_Ra; rematches of the round 1 and round 2 finals. No surprises occurred - and the final was between Nada the god of SK Terran, and Yellow the Storm Zerg.

A longed victory (two years and four months).
I’m very very happy. It’s truly been a long time, which makes me even happier. My fans have been expecting this for quite some time, and I’m happy that I can repay them with this title. I’m very happy and very lucky.
You are always so strong in all-star leagues.
Don’t they call me King of all-stars? (laugh) I hope they have more all-star leagues in the future (laugh), kidding. In the future, I will do well not only in all-star league, but regular starleagues as well.
You gambled on the last match.
After losing my first match, I studied the replay, which helped me tremendously. I figured that speedlings would work well against Nada’s relatively late barracks. As a progamer, I had a feeling that the rush was going to work.
You won 22 million wons.
I haven’t won any prize money in a while, hence not a lot of saving. I want to put most of this money into my bank account. My company will probably give me a bonus, and I can “happy” with my team-mates with that money.
About Proleague final?
Last year, I watched other teams compete for the proleague title, and I was very envious of them. This year, we have the chance to win. I hope this season will have a perfect and happy ending.
You aren’t looking so well today.
I caught a cold yesterday; I don’t understand why I always get sick before finals.
Most critical moment of today’s games?
The fourth match. Under the pressure of being 1-2 behind, there was no way out. Only winning the fourth match will give me another chance. It didn’t go that nicely in the beginning either, it was very arduous.
