Oh yeah, this is it.
Oh yeah, this is it.
Only five months was what we had left before going deep into the english water. Last time was the time where Canada gained a lot of allies. A lot of small ones, anyone can agree with it, but still, it's easier to brag about it during those official parties.
That was a time for Intelligence to step up too, and they made everything possible for us to bypass Democracy against Sweden and Austria. However, 5 months is clearly too short of a duration to go for both of them - and even the Austrian Alliance is probably too big for it alone.
Sweden, here we go!
Canada - 1942 : Release the Vikings
Another really interesting war against a great power of this world.
Since we don't want to lose any time for it, the government asks for a plan both decent enough to keep our forces at full strength, and focused on blitzkrieg. The first step includes a big attack from the north, while sneaking a whole bunch of batallion in...
Oh nevermind, it's not like it was close even once.
Like I said before, this is the exact opposite of the Ottoman situation.
Three countries merged into one big ball of green snow, and hopefully it will be enough to contain the russian forces if they decide to give them a trip. Realistically, they can buy one week or two before being mauled by those 100+ divisions of mad men.
Hell, it took maybe two months to beat down Sweden, I should read some newspaper.
Hey! Finally, they're not considered independant anymore.
Or perhaps they know no one needs New England when the old one will respawn from the dead soon enough.
Tanks!
Light ones, Medium ones.
At least 120% of our total industrial capacity is used to produce tanks. And everyone will be pleased, especially considered tanks will have many utilities, going from defensive purpose (oh, the addition of heavy/super-heavy brigades), to frontal assault (mortars, artillery), without forgetting the strategical assault section : the engineers and their light tanks.
Against huge countries like Russia, never under-estimate the power of a backstabbing light army.

Canada - 1942 : Thy Blood in our Seas
Union of Britain, the world eyes are fixed upon you.
At the end of May, we have everything we need to launch our final assault against our nemesis. Our huge fleet anchors in France, while our land armies are split into two groups - one in Scandinavia, the other one in France. It's no time to jeopardize the invading troops in the transports, they're terrible at defending themselves against anything, and if half the forces are lost even before doing any damage...
Welp, it's a 1-to-2 years loss.
The estimation of the Union of Britain fleet is about too many for us, something like 1.5/1 in their favor. We maybe have the quality, but quantity is pretty much important too. What about asking our allies some boats?
And more allies too.
This many boats.
This mission is called, patrolling around and sink every britain ships you find. Both Canadian and Allies are playing this game together, meaning we have something like 80 capital ships and 120 screens shooting at everything with a flag a little bit too red.
Results?
Huehuehuehue.
This victory panel is sponsorised by the Entente propaganda center.
A more realistic review of those dozens of battles gives a winning percentage of 65% for the Entente, and if counting the number of sunk ships, it's probably 4 or 5 UoB ships for one of us. This is going well enough to try a drop while protecting the transports!
My amphibious assault in Plymouth brings every single UoB force in it to prevent us to put a foot in their mainland. We waited long enough, since everyone defends the south, let's attack the north. Manchester only has one division to defend against my 20~.
But the plan backfired horribly.
The Canadian Fleet sucks so hard, no one understand why the last pieces of britain fleet are kicking our shiny and numerous boats without losing anything. The proofs were destroyed, it's not the time to bring despair in the Canadian lines, don't ask for photos or pictures.
And if the Manchester assault fails, the Plymouth one is doomed.
Time to regroup and split the troops between Scandinavia and France...
What the fuck?!
Dover is empty since everyone is in Plymouth. A one in a lifetime opportunity, rush for it.
Canada - 1942-1943 : Reds ahead, Water behind
Aw, Union of Britain knows they screwed up pretty badly on this one.
The truce treaty is really, really tempting. On one hand, the UoB fleet starts to bring our own fleet down now despite their losses. And we're in no way in a good position to attack any province. If we accept, we have any time to definitely prepare ourselves for the victory since the hardest part is done : pass through the navy.
On the other hand...
Meanwhile...
Not more boats in the English Channel.
And this is the answer to why no Canadian ships sunk during that awesome battle.
Since they were so useless, the Entente Fleet was the only one still patrolling around the UoB, while our own fleet was taking a break in France. Shhhhh, don't tell it, please.
Interesting. Especially when two more upgrades are on the way.
This war seems pretty easy when you only have 4 steps to describe it, but the reality of the battlefield was way more brutal than that. Portmouth and Oxford felt upon both hands half a dozen times each at least, and Dover had some UoB drops - because the Entente Fleet was almost destroyed and the Canadian one still is on unlimited holidays.
Bristol was the first real objective to take, splitting the britanny army in two parts.
With Manchester upon Canadian occupation, the war was over.
Canada - 1943 : The End of Communism
The last hope - ah hahahahah - of the syndicalist forces in the world felt.
Bye Brazil, and good job Plata!
Ironically enough, Peru is still syndicalist, but under Brazil's control...
Welcome back, guys. I want a cookie please.
The color used is unusual, but at least they bring back the old flag.
That was a long trip my friends, but we did it at least. There's nothing left to be done, except if we are still revanchist about Germany in 1918. Well, we'll see that in a few days, our forces and our allies earned some rest.
So much love.
Oh wow, please!
I should have kept the United Kingdom under my wing like I did with New England.
The country feels quite empty without those scientists, admirals and generals. They even took back some factories, that's a relief I made two or three hundred of them.
Orde Wingate and Ernie Chatfield are two badass motherfuckers, I shall name them ministers.

And that's it for the brotherly war!
