You know the drill.

When we last left off, Istanbul was sieged from almost everywhere, but the Canadian fleet didn't have access to the Black Sea sadly, meaning without a capture of Izmit, that big Ottoman army was free to flee and regroup later.
A small 6 divisions army was on its way to cut any way out tho.

Canada - 1941 : Finally a decent warm-up

Sadly, the small marine force failed, mostly due to being outnumbered and out of any supply. During the Istanbul siege, they were under the fire of each of every surrounding provinces, and the loss of a single division should be praised by our awesome ocean control.

That's it! A foot on the Ottoman hive, and enough time to recover from the long and tiring battle for Istanbul. If it's tempting to chase a fleeing army, we have to remember it was an estimated 50% of the total army, and being caught without organisation nor support is the last thing a Canadian army wants.

While they're resting, a quick call to the Foreign Affairs and Intelligence helps us to keep in touch with the rest of the world :

With some resting days, our elite troops are good to go once again.

Hey, even our soldiers can't win every battles they're into, but as long as it's going smoothly in the grand scheme of this war, I can forgive those distractions. A two-provinces of width frontline going from north to south, I know some countries who would have loved that - and it includes the USA, France, Bulgaria (but they were close to do it thanks to our arrogance),...

I guess even a child would know what to do now.
Capture the west, draw another line to separate the north-east from the south-east. Solid stuff.

And time to take a big breath before applying that plan.

It's been a while since we took a look at our reinforcements, and holy shit that new fleet is huge - and the big ones aren't even out of the harbour. I swear the Destroyer called St. George-Lyster has nothing to do with me. :p

If La Plata stay stuck in their war long enough, those remnants of the now dead Internationale will have to deal with a fully trained and equiped for the jungle military units. I even saw some of them killing anacondas and crocodiles with their bare hands.

I don't like that, nor our Foreign Affairs Minister, who foreshadowed absolutely nothing.
He said to the government we are safe to do anything for two years now, since the German Empire sleeps for almost that many time between each international action. No one wants to bet otherwise, it would imply a probable Canadian defeat, or at least a huge backstep in our objectives.

The part where you don't have to worry about the armies and just rush the important cities.
It looks way easier once the war is on the verge of ending, but the Ottoman was a decent adversary I have to recognize the strenghts. Something like 10-12 months for a single country - welp, two if one counts Armenia - is a long time, but still ! It's not 1942 yet.

Can I shed a tear?

Since those territories aren't vital for our Industrial Power, perhaps the release of the Ottoman Empire under our wing could be an asset for a full scale war in Europe - we're preparing it since forever, it will happens!

And here comes a cleaner version of the mediterranean map.

Fun Fact : we're planning the exact opposite with Norway, Sweden and Finland, merge them into one.

Tanks are cool, tanks are nice, tanks can roll anything at the price of some fuel.
But at the moment, we are only using them as a brigade attachement. Not for long!

If they're pretty bad at giving our Chief of War Staff decent numbers of the other countries, our spies are now everywhere in the world and can determine any course of action anytime we want. No one wants to lie, it's not easy and two success in a row is sort of Christmas 10 days after the usual day.

Both Sweden & Austria alliance are now available targets.
Of course, Sweden is a must because Scandinavia. But it opens so many possibilities for the next few years - when our government is still trying to get rid of democrats and send them back in Germany.
