So, what's up everybody? It's been some time actually. I was actually hyped up for the next part after the previous one had over 900 views and so many answers (even though most of the answers were totally off topic), but i finally have the time for it. Actually, i still don't have the time, but because of a few things, I'm going to make this:

1- It's been quite some time.

2- I played a ~45 minute game against AntZ, where I really smoothed out a new 3 queens opening (new to me, well known to the community) that IdrA uses quite often. Although i slipped a lot during that game, it was my best.

3- I joined back to the ESL ladder where I completely got roflstomped by every single opponent I met. You can not get roflstomped enough, can you?

4- I laddered a bit, actually up to the 3rd place of my division. The point gap is huge between me and 2nd place.

First, I want to congratulate TheAntZ for no longer being my most underrated practice partner. He jumped straight to #1 Diamond from #1 Bronze, and he's 2k diamond right now. I couldn't even beat him when he was in bronze. You can easily guess how our practice went.

---------------------------

Before I start with my ladder progress, I first want to tell another tournament experience of mine. I joined the friday night starcraft tournament of the israeli community 'Zergling' (shoutout to Mari&Noni) and got roflstomped at the first round by a bronze level player (WTF). He played Terran and he made bio aggression from start to finish and I didn't even make a single baneling (ZOMGWTFROFL).

I'll only give 1 screenshot about this game, and include the replay in the pack. You can watch if you are out of your mind want to.

+ Show Spoiler +
[image loading]

And, just because it fits the theme, I'll post this:

---------------------------

In the ESL ladder, I actually only made 1 match, which makes 2 games. My opponent was Sleeep, who is a ~2.6k diamond player who is 2nd in his division, ex WC3 National Team player from Turkey (he played Orc) and now he plays Protoss in the level of Turkish National Team players (actually I really wonder why he doesn't play for the National Team, sure team has good protoss players but Turkey is 4-1'd by Bulgaria at the last match, 4-0'd in 1v1s and 3 of those 1v1s were 2-0. The only 1v1 game was won by Spartacus, a Terran player. BLooD had to be replaced by a good Protoss player like Sleeep). And guess what happened?

+ Show Spoiler +
He lol'd me in both games and 2-0'ed without trying.

4 warpgate on first game and 1 base DT rush on second. I feel like shit for losing those games.

Only 1 image from this one as well, as this is not worthy of recap either. Who gives a shit to me someone who is shitting all game long and the other player just lols?

Only 1 screenshot, worth everything:

+ Show Spoiler +
[image loading]

+ Show Spoiler [Small Translation] +
Note: "Siktir ordan" means "Fuck off". Jibba can confirm if you want.

---------------------------

Ladder, oh yeah baby! At least something doesn't go wrong here. Actually it kinda does, but who gives a shit to bunker rushers-4gaters-any sort of cheesers like them.

I actually moved up to 1.3k along with 3rd rank in my division with a respectable bonus pool, you can see here:

+ Show Spoiler +
[image loading]

I played 13 games in the last 5 days, went 8-5 in those. Those 5 losses include:

1- 2 ZvZs where I couldn't stop shitting all game long.
2- Blistering Sands, blink stalkers, proxy pylon in my main, back entrance usage.
3- 2 rax bunker rush into 2 port cloaked banshees.
4- 4 warpgate that I wasn't able to stop for some stupid reason (probably shitting at macro).

I've been playing with gold players for quite some time actually. At first they were 'slightly favored', but now they are 'even match' against me. And for some reason, most of them are unable to play macro games.

I'll actually recap 2-3 games in this place:

Here goes the first one (Silver10 in replay pack):

+ Show Spoiler +
It's me against a silver level Terran player who is below %50 winrate in 80 games. His name is MacMalschman and I'll be calling him so.

We were on Blistering Sands, I spawned on 1 o'clock and he spawned on 7. I opened 14pool-14gas and expanded on 21, had a baneling nest. After expansion was done, I threw 2 spine crawlers and morphed 5 banelings. Right before my banelings and spine crawlers finished, he came with a small force to attack, so I moved my banelings into him.

Come on MacMalschman, you can do it, you only need to ctrl-click marines and move them back! Do it, move your marines, do it, do it!!!

Ooooooh... oh... oh no...

MacMalschman, MacMalschman, what did you do? Why didn't you move your marines back? Oh...

Right after that, my first 3 mutas popped out and cleaned the remaining marauders.

At the end, I baneling'd his expansion CC and he gg'd right after that.

And now, the second (Silver13 in replay pack):

+ Show Spoiler +
This was me against sharpcut, who is 1.9k Gold level player, who I would expect to be much better than me. But, this was a much different story.

The game started, I was at the 8 o'clock position and he was at 6 o'clock. I started with hatch first and he opened with a lol3GateRobo.

He proxy pylon'd near the Xel'Naga tower, warped in 1 round of units, but when I saw this and decided to poke a little bit, i saw that he actually has nothing, so I decided to get him.

He had so little, his immortal was way out of position, my attack timing was just dead on. And I cleaned up everything while having a respectable force left.

Right after this engagement (it may not be right after, but he had nothing at that time), my mutas popped out. And I learned one thing in this game, at the end of the recap I'll tell.

My mutas popped out, he had little to no stalkers, I went in and raped everything. He tried to zealot counterattack me, but nothing happened as well. I won convincingly.

But, in this game, I learned 2 things:

1- If you click right behind enemy army with your lings and click S when 2 lings are next to each other right behind enemy army, you can surround your enemy.

2- If you have a good number of mutas at a moment and he has very little number of stalkers, you win instantly. It was not only this game that ended in this manner, but all ZvPs i won. At a moment, I had 7-8 mutas, he had 2 stalkers, I won. That's the 2nd lesson, which will cost me games against TheAntZ later on.

---------------------------

Speaking of TheAntZ, yeah. I said I had the best game of my life. I'll actually go ahead and give spoilers as well. I lost a 43 minute game where most of the map was mined out. Actually I played very stupidly but,

1- My macro was better than the other games of me against TheAntZ (still worse than my ladder games, I don't know why but I get shakes against my practice partners).

2- I had a very good creep spread in that game (I actually had quite good creep spread against TheAntZ today, which is what I'm working on right now).

3- My control still sucks, but i feel that my multitasking is getting better overall (not on this particular game, but recently).

So, let's go game!

+ Show Spoiler +
(Replay AntZ6) Here we are, in Metalopolis. I spawned in 6 o'clock, and he spawned in 8. I opened with 14 hatch-14 pool-14 gas (@100 gas, pool 2 guys off gas, so i can have another 100 for lair right at the time when my 3rd queen finishes, and there I go creep spread).

We actually had no engagement before 13th minute mark. And, i win the first engagement with a much bigger army.

Oh, what did I say about my macro? Forget it, my macro sucks. But not my creep spread. It looks OK.

Around the 15th minute mark, I actually had a good timing. I had +60 food advantage and he had almost no army compared to mine (50+ roaches compared with an archon, 14 stalkers and some more shit).

Holy crap! Nice creep, nice army, nice timing. Go for it!

I could win the game if I attacked head on. But what did I do instead?

YOU NOOB SHIT!!!

It's literally the most efficient way to suicide an army. I drew free fire, I went next to cannons, I didn't even attack for quite some time. So, I missed a possible win here.

The game went back&forth for quite some time. When he goes on creep, I clean him up. When I do something decisive, I lose my whole fucking army.

Actually a good number of roaches were here 15-20 seconds ago

The game went back&forth for quite a good time, until this happened.

I really know what those colossi feel right now. I felt that a LOT. Not the best storm btw.

But, after we got halfmaps, he just overwhelmed me with colossi-archons and I had nothing to do. GG.

---------------------------

Yeah, and so was my past 5 days in Starcraft 2. Btw, I scored my first ever iccup win in BW (HOLY SHIT). You know how? Let me show:

He's right for every single word.

Np dude, I also have harder time against you than gold level protosses (lol :D). But really, I hardly remember any protoss player that pushed me so hard.

I've been using spoilers ever since the longest loading blog of mine. And if you were in my shoes, the only way for you to win a game in iccup is to 5pool a chinese D level Terran (lol iccup is full of protoss right now. I kicked 4 protosses and after that I got Terran).

Ah saw your post in loophole's thread.
I have a turkish friend so I know the general flames :D

I used to say Amina koyum or something along the line to others but that was like when I was 8 years old LOL.

Since you are so enthouiastic I'll watch the replay when I get back from work (in like 9-10 hours).

Maybe I'll be able to give you some good advice :x

Keep up the blogging I enjoy players telling their progress to the public. I'm doing it too but rather once a month or two (will make blog starting week of January) about my own progress.

Hahahaha you made me lol so hard :D. I flame so hard when it comes to Starcraft, and that actually made Sleeep say "IdrA >.<" after the game. We talked a bit on his DT rush timing, state of the ladder right now, state of Turkish SC2, state of the national team etc.

And yes, actually I am enthusiastic and AntZ gives me good advices on generally ZvP. But I wouldn't mind good advice on other matchups, especially ZvZ and cheese games, because all 5 games that I lost are either cheese or ZvZ games (I actually gg in ZvZs but flame other people in the rest) and I don't seem to lose macro games in ZvT and ZvP (I still lose a lot of games against my practice partners, but what I'm talking about is the gold level players on the ladder).

And well since you are facing gold players there should be alot to improve for you and there should be something for me to give you good advice on (hopefully lol). Pm me your ingame name/id and I'll add ya tonight so we can directly

AntZ gives me good advices on generally ZvP

Actually im not sure my advice is good since im relatively low on the ladder, im just pointing out what exactly my zerg opponents do that makes me feel most pressured/uneasy. maybe for other toss those things differ but I try to be sure that its something that would apply in any zvp before i say it :D
Thats at least one good thing about having played random so long. More perspective!
Btw keep makin these blogs i read em while im havin breakfast and its awesome :3

Actually neither my ingame name nor my character code is a secret. My ingame name#character code is: LoboMuzenza#119. But I doubt if i can play tonight as I have an exam tomorrow (last night study ftw). But after tomorrow, I'll be online more frequently. Thanks.

And everybody else, you can add as well.

Hahaha I lol'd so hard on breakfast part. And actually what you did was something that I never saw out of a gold, plat, or even other diamond players that I've played (Archons vs Zerg ftw! 47 damage to biological units, and other diamond players generally 4 warpgated me, some cannon rushed some dt rushed etc.). Actually I don't really know how to counter zealot archon as well, so it was a good training nevertheless (brooooooooodlords... I'll remember them).

Again, thanks to all my practice partners:

- TheAntZ, first and the most, definitely.
- Elsid, dude we definitely need to practice more often.
- Infrawhite, thanks for all those BC rushes, carrier-mothership rushes and baneling busts. You can't find him on TL (probably not), but if you read the past parts, you'll know who he is.
- Medivh, actually I don't remember your TL name, but well.. We should practice some time later on.
- AntZ's friend. It was fun playing with you as well. You and AntZ look like HyungJoon and Shark to me.
- My practice group with whom I only had the opportunity to practice once: DarkSide, DerpDog, IcariuM, nubnax, also TheAntZ, also AntZ's friend, all other people in there, sorry if I forgot any of you.
- Last but not the least, also IcariuM for vent-coaching me, or rapping as I call.
- And now, shannn is probably in as well.
