EPT8/15. This is the last time that I saw a really good friend to me. He left Seoul for Marseilles, his hometown is in Arles sur Tech. He lived in Korea for more than one year . He played for a famous called 4Kings with Grubby, Creolophus etc… Before he lived in Beijing and he played for mousesports. He was one of the best player in the world and won many tournaments like the WEG 2006 with 30 000$, a second place in the Intel Extreme Masters behind Park “Lyn” June, TOP 3 in the ESWC Masters in Paris, etc.... He really managed to be easily in the TOP 5 of the best WarCraft player. Everybody knows him: Merlo “ToD” Yoan.
2 weeks ago, Yoan called me and told me that he will leave Korea for personal reasons. We decided together and with two friend of us Sehee and Anastasia, to make a kinda farewell party with him. We planned that for today (the 8/15).
Around 6:00 pm, I took subway from Hongdae and went to Gangnam. There together went to restaurant and 노래방 (Singin room). We really spent good times together but I miss him already… He was a really good friend and it’s too painful to think that I could see him often… I guess he will be back in Korea for a journey maybe but in really long time…
So tonight my feelings aren’t really good and I don’t have any pictures with him… So well, when I’m watching pictures that I took with him, I remember good times that we spent with him…

It was during ToD’s birthday. A lot of people came here and some famous names known by TL community like Kim “lilsusie” Susan attended to his birthday. Some famous WarCraft players came here too like like Cho "FoV" DaeHee, Hwang "Zacard" Tae Min. From the left to the right: ToD, me, my girlfriend, Sehee (I think lilsusie’s brother took the picture).

After the birthday meal, we went out and before this event, I was sick. I needed to wear a mask… From the left to the right: Me and ToD.

Here we went to “Club Answer”, a famous club in Seoul. Tasteless went too but on the picture he wasn’t. From the left to the right: Me, ToD, Sehee and Mickael
Well… I’m sad right now… After leaving Gangnam I was too sad… but suddenly, a friend from the KT fan crew sent me a message saying that she booked me a place tomorrow for the GOM TV Grand Final. I told her how could she do that? Well her answer was simple. Since a long time, a FlaSh Fan Cafe was released and there, it’s possible to book place to watch Lee Young Ho. After that, I received a message confirmation saying that: “영호동 운영자입니다. 경기장 입장 시간이 앞당겨진 관계 내일 4시 까지 경기장 앞으로 와주세요. 감사합니다.”. This message means : ”I am Young Ho Dong, the administrator. We will go to the stadium eariler than we expected. So come to the stadium tomorrow at 4pm. Thanks”. So I’m happy, this is the official confirmation from the FlaSh cafe admin.
Tomorrow I could feel better maybe… watching a good final can help me to cheer up.
I will try to take videos and pictures about the final tomorrow and I will write a new blog about this event with pictures and videos.
I would like to ask you guys, how did you act when you learnt than a friend of you left for another country or what? Thanks for answering.
