My arch nemesis killed my parents and i want revenge.
I'm looking to get into MMA. I've done some homework found some places by me and cost but, when it comes to..my..physic, im kind of out of shape (little more then kind of haha)
I have no experience in fighting. I have never really done any weight lifting besides some weights i have at home. I have done some cardio (apparently can't spell either) but as of late it has come to a more or less halt.
The sites say that they have "beginner" classes but would i even be considered beginner? Or should i just take other classes and gain some experience in combat and/or increase my strength/fitness?
Hm you could try to unleash a zombapocalypse on the world, leaving you the only non zombie. This would force you to learn to be strong, indepedent, resourceful, and you would be stronger/faster than everyone else so fighting would be easy.
No, it's perfectly fine to start with a beginning class...a beginning class is not for people who know a bunch of shit and are already in good shape and weight lifting etc...that's why it's a beginners class. As a beginning body builder you'll get extremely fast results as well, so don't worry about it. That period will from 4-6 months.

Hmm, ok but its not that its a beginning class its i basically no nothing at all, and thought maybe i needed to at least know ANYTHING

in what part of this did i say i wanted super powers or something fictional? you can be a superhero without being "fictional" i guess it all depends on what you consider a "superhero"

you know there's like tons out there right? there was a news story a while back about it, I'll try to find it and post it up but basically it's kids doing citizen's arrests on muggers and stuff. except they're dressed up. when I find it i'll post it up

Wait why do you want to learn martial arts? MMA is pretty rough dude, I wouldn't do it unless you have a black belt in SOMETHING. Most people in MMA have some fighting experience. Not to mention, if you don't work out @ all, good frigging luck in MMA b/c you are going to get trashed.
But why exactly do you even wanna do MMA? I don't understand the op/get why.

You know, this is exactly what I thought this thread would include in the opening post.
Im glad at least one other person agreed
I know nothing about MMA so I cant help, but everyone should listen to the youtube video CaucasianAsian posted, as well as all of Stephen Lynch's other videos haha
Umm beginner classes for MMA generally don't require that you know anything. And I started going to the ones I attend in order to get into shape. However, it IS rather rough. If you're going to a decent school, they will work you pretty hard and you have to be decently paranoid about injuries.

Dude you can start at the beginning learning just MMA...
Even beginner classes are very tough even if you are in good shape (play a sport such as bball, x-country, ect), but they are definitely do-able and within a month you'll have super abs and arms and stuff like that.

burn half your face off.
Or you could do what batman did.
Become rich,
go to asia, carry a flower to the top of a mountain, join a ninja club, then go back to your home city and start construction on your equipment.
make a vow of silence, wrap yourself in latex and grab a ninja sword. go to japan and start slashing people. someone's bound to notice you then. they may even talk english.
