I assume you've already tried setting it to a lower resolution then back up to the max one? I also assume you've rebooted at least once? | ||

I use the quick launch bar for programs I regularly use and the built-in search function in the vista start menu takes care of the rest. | ||

if you have it off and you cloes SC or another full screen program that doesn't use the same res as your desktop the comp is probably staying at that resolution despite your res being set to full in your personalize menu. | ||
