Firstly I would like to thank mani for unbanning me 4 hours early.
Starting tomorrow I will be going on an adventure. From D to B in 2 months. I have been in hell since friday and banned since the beginning of july. It has given me time to think and set my goals straight. Starting tomorrow asoon as I get home and turn on my computer I will start. My highest rank has been C which was 2 seasons ago. I am going to start with a new account and go from D to B in 2 months before the season ends. Everyone has something to live for. I will have something to live for and be proud of when I reach my goal. Hurrah ill update my adventure here and there but tomorrow will be the start of history in the making! If flash can become a progamer in less then 3 years I can do this in 2 months!

GL, looking forward to reading this.

Flash also played for 18 hours a day . Will you do that? 2 months = ~60 days. 60*18 = 1080 hours. glhfgg. And don't crash.
I can't play saturday so only 6 days. Also I will be maintaining a social life too
Just so you know... Season ends at the end of August on ICCup, not the end of September. =/

not to be a party pooper but going from c- skill level to b in two months is IMPOSSIBLE, unless you dedicate every aspect of your life to the game lol. even then it would be hard
Iirc it was june to september. I might spill into the next season then but still 2 months
Sorry to be a party pooper but i dont see this happening
Nope.
Also what kind of social life maintaining will you be doing? Just to ask exactly how much time your overestimating in each day.
On that note, I'm in a hotel room with shitty internet until tomorrow, time to massgame.
I won't commit every second to sc. I will have to make a schedule of some sort to find my playing capacity.

lolol k
B level is fucking hard man, play during the day!!
im gonna be the first to say that you will probably make it to B- and give up.
I think you would gain more (and stand a better chance of success) if your goal was to play X games per day and review your losses or something more along those lines.
Here's what I'm planning to do in EST time. 4-8 AM play starcraft 9-10 breakfast 11-1 lunch and starcraft 2-4 starcraft and piano 4-5 lifting for football 6-8 starcraft
I will get the most amount of playing done in the early morning and afternoon

I challenge you to play 50 games a day or more.

I could do it in a week if I cared
Anyone who's anyone stays at the C ranks though
I mean, WHAT color was goku's super saiyen hair?
Yes, the color of C- is the correct answer
My bet is that your parents find out your ridiculous schedule and shut you down.
your goal should be "play 50 games a day and watch replays of losses or confusing games". getting to such and such a rank is not a feasible goal since you could go up against korean smurfs all day for a week at c-. its not likely but its possible. just try to play 50 games a day for a week. then go from there. you can adjust and add on to your x games a day goal with other goals like win 30 games a day or w/e. good luck
thats a lot of starcraft.
but from C to B in just two months? that's really hard~ gl
Won't happen. Race, you have always had a fucked understanding of the game, and your mass gaming has never really paid off. This is just going to end up in you getting frustrated and angry and probably re-banned after a rage blog or something,
GL though.
Also, football?
Why don't you concentrate a shitload on lifting for football and getting in shape for that instead of mass gaming on SC? It'll probably pay more dividends and you can still play StarCraft for fun on the side instead of decreeing it an epic campaign to the center of Berlin or some shit.
GL. Be sure to tell us how you do and, if successful, give us tips on how to improve! :D

he's 14, he has a lot of free time and his conscience hasn't evolved enough yet to give him the idea he's playing to much
well, all I can say is good luck
hmm, from 3000 to 7000 points... i could see this happening if you play 5 hours a day...
hahaha, holy shit
This is near impossible. If you're really dedicated, I think you can make C+.

Fixed methinks.

I'm gonna prove the impossible And I'm 15 now lol
Race B is very high level- have you ever been C+ before? I wish you would shoot for one rank improvement before you say B....
Another Combat-Ex in the making.
How is this related to combat ex even slightly?
if you mass alot of games im fairly sure you can point abuse your way there if nothing else. But gaining those thousand points through B will probably be the hardest part because losses take out alot. If you dodge koreans and played 500 games or so you might be able to get from C level to B if you've never gotten past C, maybe.
I can see you hitting B- if you put a lot of effort into it, but maintaining a solid B? I dunno...
I specifically said B for a reason
You will never make B Race how often have I heard that from you? You have been C- for half a year or more, that's how far your mechanics can bring you. I remember when we both started out a year ago and you told me you would be B- beofre christmas, and here we are at the end of the summer more htne a year later and you are barely an average C-.
If you constantly analyse yourl osses and know what you did worng in EVERY game including your wins maybe you can reach C+ in half a year. Good luck however.

Last time was different this time I'm doing the impossible

I respect your desire to push yourself but just don't burn yourself out too much. Keep in mind Chill barely broke B after playing the game for years and years.
If you're serious about it I recommend looking for a coach who can tell you what you're doing wrong. No matter how much your mechanics or memorization of build orders improves, it won't make a difference if you can't have someone analyze your reaction to other players and what mistakes you made in game. Knowing when to expand, when to attack, when to deny expansions, when to try to move out and when not to, these game sense/decision making skills really take time to develop, and I don't think they can be obtained by simple mass gaming or memorization.
So I highly highly recommend looking for someone to be a personal trainer for you if you can find someone. Good luck.

Everyone hates me too much to help me so........ya I'm gonna do this by myself!
You are not gonna reach to B in 1-2 months seriously.
