This is bad reasoning man no matter how you slice it. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt though. Girls usually get small tattoos on their ankle and the Canadian Flag thing gets redundant. Sure you want to show your red and white, who doesn't? To me it looks girlie. | ||

By all means, if you do have a good personal reason, do it. But don't just get it cause you were born in Canada. So is everyone else you talk to. | ||

I suggest getting a bigger maple leaf if that is what you have your heart set on. Let there be good detail on it, and let it take longer than 5 minutes to get done so it has some more meaning to you. Just my 2 cents! | ||

As for the OP, if you are going to get ink done, it's best to get it somewhat bigger, and to put a bit more thought into it. I mean, you are permenantly coloring that portion of your body, you should at least make it worth the experience. | ||

imo tattoos are pretty badass but not many people that ive come by have nice ones.. i think the only actual cool ones are on real gangsters and people from prison.. in any case if you are to go through with it i am 100% sure that the ankle is for chicks.. and i think a cool tatoo has a story behind it | ||
