Hi, I couldn't help but laugh at how I won the following game so I thought I'd share it.

The Setup...
Map: Zodiac
Rank: D+ game
Opponent: Random Protoss host

I spawn at the 12 o clock position.

He spawns at the 3 o clock position.

2gate? OH NO! T___T

I was pondering 9pool, but then dozed off and ended up making an overlord so I just decided to 12hatch.

He scouts me first? Wtf! Map hax... He ends up taking out my natural

Thankfully, I put a sunken up in the main so that's as far as he goes.

2hatch baby! I figured I'd need to get some quick tech to deal with his huge advantage.
After all, he has fucking double my supply ~_~. How can he lose this?!?!

By 2hatch lurks? ... Maybe...

And by not paying attention. I manage to sneak a dozen speedlings past his zeals outside my base and I kill off a decent amount. I kill a bunch of probes and a few dragoons before his main army comes back to clean it up.

Well, I may as well take my expansion now

He's still on one base hahaha.

Not JUST 2hatch lurks, but 2hatch lurk + slow ovie drop...

FTL... I swear. Fucking map hax. My upgrade finishes just as I'm about to load to 2 lurkers into the ovie by his main then he randomly comes down and kills it off??

Finally he expands o.o

So I take my 3rd. I love abusing terrain!

If iloveoov were to play zerg, I would outmacro him.

Honestly, I'm going to aim for C this season, but I only have a high of C-...

I think I offended him.

Funny thing is, this was my first time ever playing Zodiac. I quickly looked at the map preview for like 2 seconds before he started. I was especially proud of this win because of that, and because of the huge advantage he had in the first 5 minutes

Haha, I always feel bad when they ask me for highest rank, thinking I'm some really good player. I'm just like "C" and then they leave, leaving me wondering if they're going to go commit suicide or something..

lol I was having a really good day and I totally owned a mech-ing terran as Zerg. He asked my highest rank and I told him what it was. D rank :D he didn't believe that and started swearing at me then left.

lol its okay irie. at least you didn't cuss me out or hide pylons or anything

when I made C- I didn't even play a game because I didn't want to ruin my record. I got 3042 and then stopped playing that season haha. this season I think I've improved so I think I might be able to go for C(then stop playing of course for this season ;D)

I've lost so many games when I think its Protoss but I'm actually playing against a zerg when I'm terran, I can just never adapt

asking for race to a random player isn't impolite. it's just pointless. why the hell would he give away the biggest advantage (although it isn't that big at all) of going random at the very start of the game. if you're that worried, just scout earlier

sometimes I just make an overpool at 250 minerals to prove a point to myself

I don't ask for race because of the advantage thing. I ask because some people offrace against a certain race. I.E they play Terran most of the time, but offrace to play PvT instead of TvT. So sometimes people wait for the opponent to pick their race before they pick theirs. I asked when I picked zerg to see if he would then pick or stay as random. I'll still play someone if they go random, I don't leave right away if they don't say anything and go.

same with me. i had like 300 games or somthing trying c- so hard. nut i kept running into those 14-2ish players who were running up ladder so late in the season. i was about to fucking smash my flatscreen and curse out some random person ^^
finalyl i got c- but the win wasnt counted because of server crash TT icup didnt even give a shit as we all know. so i made another attempt ater like 10 more D+ gosus with 13-1 stats raped me i got c- again but server crashes fucked me once more. i ended up c- with 3007 points and 4 wins that were not awarded to me... phew on the last day of the last, too

btw about the random thing and asking for race: i didnt even play random i just late picked protoss. you asked me for race before you had picked yours. thats what i thought was impolite

i was still steaming from the game before tho, else i woulda never smarted off like this
