Yea I did notice Ritsu was trying to speak politely. But evidentally my keigo is even worse than hers so I couldn't tell if she was good or bad. XD
On the other hand, I do think Lucky Star is really good. It kept me laughing throughout each episode XD.

When she is lying on her back at the beginning of the episode? Ice [cream]. In the manga she called out for ice. The other time (at the beach) it reads パラダイス to me, since it is distorted it kinda looked like a テ, but should be ラ.
And well, we all strive to get better, except the native speakers.  Simply checking since what you have is different from what I remembered and I don't have access to my stuff atm to check myself.

Except Lucky Star was awesome and it goes on my list of favorite animes, the timings and the texts are just unsurpassed in it. K-On! started good and made it looks like it was going to be my favorite anime this season but around episode 5 it started turning into facepalm-quality and only kept degrading with each ep ;/

I think ep9 was still good, tho. I mean, Azunyaa (ep9) was awesome, my love is a stapler (ep8) was awesome, christmas (ep7) was awesome, and fuwafuwa time (ep6) was awesome.
