roofl i always go to that mcdonalds with my friends XD..
sorry i just bumped into this post cuz i was wondering if there were any Tlers in burnaby as well~..

i live really close to confederation park and mcgil lib haha.. lets LAN at the library!!

yeah there are lots of SFU TLers. Last fall semester (2008) my first term at SFU, the engineering computer lab was always full of engineers playing dota and starcraft. It died down through out the year, but sometimes we still play games there. I think next term it will pick up again due to influx of new engineering students.

OHHH the engineering comp labb is where its AT :D damn i'm in the wrong effing faculty haha..

wow is there also a bw or dota team for SFU that i dont know about?? i'm not really in the engineering circle.. i'd love to represent my school or sth

i've been down in the library dungeon where lots of koreans play.. ive played against them in a couple games but i think they only play very very recreationally.. but still it was good times

If you can find the men's washroom on the second level of ASB, the door is right beside the washroom door. You need a card to get in. The Koreans you are talking about got caught playing and kicked out, I guess they play at the library now.

But yeah most people that play is d/d+, with maybe 1 or 2 c-/c players. There was a previous season A- korean player, but he is about to graduate next term and he is only C-/Cish due to lack of practice.
