I'm really curious as to what reasons there are for me not to quit smoking...the only things that come immediately to mind are some existentially inauthentic implications quitting may have or some conspiracy...lol.

It sounds like you want a reason to NOT quit smoking. Maybe wait until you're a bit further in before asking for those reasons?

I have reasons enough to quit right now...more so than I have at any other time I'd tried to quit in the past.

I really hope not. That would be depressing. I mean, no one wants to live a hard life, but if I thought I had overcome the largest hurdle of my life at the age of 22, or whatever the OP is, and it was cigarettes then I would want a refund.

Well I wish you the best of luck Try to find something to replace them when you get stressed or feel the need, I quit, with use of nicotine replacement, and that was hard, can't imagine straight up stopping.

The nagatives to benefits ratio about smoking is about .01< 99.99 %. The only + I can say smoking does for u is help your voice, and since i got a morning show, I dabble. Other then that I would quit in heart-beat, props to you big guy. GL.

Personally I hate smokers, sure it's addictive, but it's not like you don't know that when you start. Well, I guess I only hate smokers because of second hand smoke. =/
