Sources that cover(Preferably internet sources): - first successful rapper (preferably american) - how rap changed from the 1980s to 1990s - origins of rap - and rap's influence on other music genres My 5th source was about Tupac Shakur and he obviously wasn't very difficult to find. It just sorta evolved into the genre. First it was just DJs spinning breaks and every once in a while saying a little clever rhyme every once in a while. But I suppose you could choose the first MC to get a record deal.Afrika Bambaatta is a good choice.
