I know that there’s a rule about not creating multiple IDs, but this is a rather special circumstance. I wanted to make a rather anonymous blog, because I’ll be sharing a lot of information about my personal life, and I don’t want some people who know me to stumble across this, and then be forced to have awkward conversations. I promise I won’t use this account for anything other than the blog, and I ask you to keep my identity hidden. If there is a problem with this, please let me know via posting here or PM, and I will just stop using this account.
Why TeamLiquid? Because I like the user-base here, the community, also because the age average is slightly lower than my age, so this blog could perhaps help some people who are less experienced in this domain. I like the humor and everything else around here, I feel like home here, this is where I want to write.
Why write about relationships? Well, I see a lot of posts that touch this subject and I want to speak my mind. I don’t want to tell people what to do, I just want to share what I’ve learned so far. I have been sort-of “analyzing” relationships for a good 6-7 years now, not just my own but everyone’s around me. I wanted to know how they tick, what makes something work and what breaks something really fast, what people generally like and what they usually dislike about a partner, things like that.
I am aware that this will NOT be true for everyone, different people like different things, some of the things I take for granted will not apply to everyone, but I don’t think it would hurt to inform others of what I have learned. If nothing else, I’d at least get some things off my chest.
So let’s begin. I’ll start with telling you a few details about myself, and then I’ll write a few chapters about things that seem most important to me (e.g.: lying, giving and taking, etc). I didn’t think it over too much, but if people will read, I’ll try to keep writing. Also, feel free to ask any questions at all via posting or PMing, I’ll try to be as open as possible.
Me: I’m a 24 y.o. male, about 6 feet tall (1,79m), I’m fairly well built, no specific physical defects, but I don’t stand out in a crowd for being awesomely hot either. During the past 8-9 years I’ve had about 20-25 relationships (and by relationship, I mean everything that lasted over 2 weeks, and involved physicall and emotional contact). Some of them were sexual, others have not, my longest relationship lasted a little over 2 years, and that sets a record by far, because most others were in the 2 week -> 2 months area. I’m only sharing this info so you have a general idea about my looks and experience. It doesn't really have much to do with what’s coming, but who knows, maybe some of you are interested in this.
